Linkers and Connectors

The difference between the two lies in the function it has in the sentence.

On the one hand, connectors are conjunctions that join words or propositions (parts of speech)
to each other.

On the other hand, linkers are words or groups of words that connect phrases or ideas in the
text. They are placed at the beginning of the sentence. They ensure that the text has a logical
connection and guide the reader through it.
