Knowledge Gap
While most of the studies concentrate on the impact of this technology on education, little to no
research describes how education can be used to improve the quality of these infographics. The
study explores a knowledge gap in which learners will be provided with customizable
infographics that they can edit to suit their visual preferences (Hassan, 2016).
Motion infographics are mainly used in teaching technical and science subjects to
illustrate process flows. Creative designs with customizable elements will enable students to
adjust the color schemes, object shapes and sizes, text alignment and animation schemes to suit
their preferences (Afify, 2018). When used in this approach, learners acquire knowledge through
the infographics while at the same time improving on their design and appearance.
