Outline Test Procedure

• The Concept of initial test is to undertake preliminary screening so as to have an additional
layer of selection process. This also reduces work load at ISSB.

41. (1)- Similar figure appears in every second figure box. For the first figure, upper figure
and lower figures inter changed in their place and similarly for the second box figure the left
hand side and right hand side do the same.

step anti- clockwise.
56. (1)-First (X) moves down ward one step then (-) moves left side, then again (X) and so on.
57. (5)-Circle (Shaded circle) moves anti- clockwise and rest figures interchanged their position
with the Opposite figure.
58. (2)-First Arrow inverts, on the 3rd figure the triangle and the diagonally opposite figure inverts
again the arrow inverted, then the other figure inverts on the same way
59. (3)-The line segment inside the quadrilateral moves 45° clock wise and the arrow along with
inverts on every move.
60 (5)- This is the path of lower figure whereas the figures follows the above path
and changes the position in 90 degree up n down manner.

Physical Standards
In addition to academic achievements PMA long course require physical test as under:
The laid down standards can be achieved by adoption to daily exercise. One hour of physical activity in
form of sports is suggested. You can also try some exercise for you arms.
On the day of physical test don’t take full meal before test. Have good sleep on prior night.
Medical Standards
• Minimum Height: 5 feet 4 inches / 162.5 cm
• Weight as per Body Mass Index(BMI)
• Visual Standards
o Distance Vision – With Glasses 6/9 , 6/12
o Near Vision – J2, J7 or N8, N12 with or without glasses.
• Other standards to be examined by Medical Expert
o Flat foot
o Sweaty Palms or Hyperhidrosis
o Cubitus Varus or Cubitus Valgus
o Hearing Problems
o Knee Knocking
o Color Blindness
o Squint eyes
o Chest expansion / deformity
Interview - Guidelines and Sample Questions

Each candidate will be given marks out of 20. A candidate securing less than 10 marks will be
considered failure and will not be given Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB)form. Following guidelines
are given for conduct of interview: -
• Expression and confidence.

• Adequate Knowledge about current affairs.
• Adequate knowledge about Geo and Pak Studies.
• Overall outlook.
• Extracurricular activities include sports and hobbies.
• Any other aspect as deemed appropriate by the Panel.

Interview Tips
• Enter the interview room with faith in Allah and self-confidence.
• The candidate must answer questions in an easy and natural way.
• Liste to the questions carefully and give relevant answers.
• Be smart in answering but don’t be clever and don’t try to prove your intelligence.
• He should be sensible and wise and display energy, remain lively.

• Use simple and right words while answering questions.
• Be sharp, should not pause for a long time.
• Keep eye contact.
• Don’t be defensive, admit mistakes, if these are there.
• You should bluff or go for a hazard guess if you are unknown to some question or don’t know
an exact answer, you don’t know something correctly, own it.
