    Yes, because they wanted Cuba to be independent, and the only way for them to get it
    was with the American intervention. We can know this because we can see that Cuba
    is going to celebrate an Independence Day with the Americans.
    2. What this cartoon is saying about war is that Cuban people must go hand in hand with
    Americans to achieve their independence. So, it says that the innocent Cuba and their
    saviour America would defeat the evil Spain.
    3. This cartoon makes me that war will only bring benefits for Cuba and America, if Cuba
    independence is what we are searching for. Cuba needed help and Americans
    intervention will help this event to be successful
