Maslow's hierarchy of needs has been discussed in your course. Your task is to
read the given five scenarios carefully and identify the need presented in each scenario
and in the next column, you have to write the category of that particular need.

For your better understanding, an example is given below.

vacations. Despite his wealth, he often feels
unfulfilled and disconnected from his family.

city for her job. She is living alone in a studio
partment and finds it difficult to make new friends
in the city. She spends most of her time at work
or watching TV alone in her apartment.

4 Amna is a 45-year-old woman who lives in a small Safety Needs Deficiency Needs
town in a developing country. She works as a
teacher at a local school and has two children.
Recently, the town has experienced an increase in
crime, including thefts and robberies.

5 Kiran is in an abusive relationship with her partner, Safety Needs Deficiency Needs
Ahmed. Ahmed is emotionally and physically
abusive towards Kiran, and she lives in constant
fear of his temper. She feels trapped and unable to
leave the relationship due to Ahmed’s threats to
harm her or their children if she tries to leave.
