In this assignment, I had a significant role as I had been assigned to research a complicated

term. However, I did do so very effectively by using my own knowledge and also using
sources such as law trove and Westlaw to aid me with my answer. I also drafted the
contract by adding both the terms which we added on our own and the terms which we had
given in a professional way; I also helped the group leader by proofreading the finalised
essay and with any errors made.

I really enjoyed working with this group which I had chosen as luckily, they were both my
friends which therefore made it very easy to communicate and co-ordinate the whole
assignment and get things done more efficiently as we called each other every day updating
everyone on our work and if we had any queries. We had a great leader in Saarah Ali who
managed everyone’s progress perfectly and motivated us all in order to get the work done
to the best of our ability, and my other group friend Zsolt Pecsi who contributed very well
with his ideas. Also, due to being friends, it made it much easier to ask for help and
converse if we had many struggles, and due to having such an understanding group, we did
not judge each other and helped one another get through any difficulties. Everyone
completed their roles perfectly, especially since we did not have all the members within our
group as they did not get back in touch with us no matter how many times we tried to
contact them, which therefore required us to do way more of the work than originally
planned but due to having such a driven and hard-working group that was no problem for us
at all and we accomplished it perfectly and also achieved to complete the work a day before
the deadline. The fact we all had a well-established understanding of contract law really
helped when brainstorming for ideas and actually managed to gather way more terms than
was required.

In the previous criminal law group task, I did not have the best of experiences as I was the
group co-ordinator and everyone in the group relied on me to do most of the work such as
footnoting everyone’s work, which was very stressful, but this had not been the case with
this group as it taught me with the right people and support it helped me to get my fair
share of the work done successfully stress-free. As I had a remarkable group, I have no
criticisms. However, it has taught me that when doing group work in the future that
constant communication and support is key and can help get the work done more efficiently
without any problems.
