1) Tell me about yourself?

Ø Good morning, sir/ma’am my name is Akshay Baigalwar

and I have graduated from tulsiramji Gaikwad patil
college of engineering and technology Nagpur in civil
engineering and now I am doing my MBA in HR and
marketing management from the same college. Recently I
had completed my 45 days internship in HR and
marketing department from magical umbrella private
limited Chandrapur. It is an ed-tech start-up where I have
worked on talent acquisition, performance management,
marketing communication and also give two seminars to
the magical umbrella team and their students one on HR
and other on marketing and also suggest to them some
ideas related to HR and Marketing.

Ø My real strength is my ability to truly understand what

your audience or my team members want. I pride myself
on my reputation for creating engaging and compelling
content that I know your audience loves and wants to
share.

Ø I hold the capacity to perform well even amidst tight

deadlines and hectic schedule and I believe a work is not
done unless received with satisfaction.
 Ø What I am looking for is a company that I could add value
to that I could produce a positive return on investment for
where I could join a strong team in this what XYZ
company is looking for.

2) Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

Ø In 5 years, I would like to be a mentor or guide taking up a

managerial or leadership role where I am able to share my
5-year experience with my team members or interns. I am
passionate about mastering my position learning, sharing
and enhancing my knowledge with my company’s long
term goals. I truly believe my passion to learn each step
will help me to get into a managerial position.

3) Why should we hire/select you?

Ø Aa a fresher I am interested in learning new things as a

student. I learn things theoretically but I am waiting for an
opportunity to implement them in a practical way. If you
will hire me I will do my best.

Ø as I am a fresher I have theoretical knowledge but I

need a platform where I can implement my
knowledge into practical fail. I will put all my efforts
 for the good progress of the organization. I have
pressure. I have no present mind regarding work
culture in an organization and this will help me to

Ø For the year I have acquired relevant skill and

have also worked tirelessly on my communication

 my future career, which will be in your organization if
I am selected for the position. If I have given my
100% effort in my past companies, and this has
enabled me to recognize my capabilities and
limitations. If I generalize them further, they will bring
fruitful results to me and also to your estimated

4) Can you work under pressure? / How well do you handle

stress/pressure?

Ø Working under pressure is nothing but a challenge in my

view. If we are open to learning new things it is easy to
work under pressure. I always set new goals in my life and
accept work with love. If we love the work, we won’t feel
it as pressure.

Ø Definitely yes sir, this is the basic quality to get

success in any field. If a person needs success in his
/ her career, he / he should be ready to face this, and
maximum of those situations end up with new
learning experience.

Ø Most of the time, I prepare to react to situations rather

than to fix this out. Though, I can tackle myself
without becoming too stressed. For instance, then I
 had to deal with an annoying teammate for a project
during my PG. Instead of focusing on the teammate’s
nonsense, I tried to focus more on the project at
hand and preparing the presentation. I believe that
my ability to concentrate on the end of success helps
me reduce my stress.

5) How do you feel about working nights and weekends?

Ø Sir I frankly answer you that everybody wants to

enjoy the weekend but if the company really wants
me to work on the weekend it is my honor and I
definitely put all my efforts into improving the
organization. I have no problem working nights and
weekends if I am a part of this company, then it is my
duty to be there where the company needs me.

Ø I will try to complete my task within weekdays effectively

and efficiently to avoid weekend and night work. I believe
that our mental and physical health is very important. If
you are feeling fresh you can contribute more effectively
and ultimately will be a cause to increase productivity.

6) What is your outside interest?

 Ø My outside interest is playing outdoor games. I am
always eager to know about the latest technology in
our countries. During traveling I will mostly paper to
solve puzzles for Sudoku. I spent some time listening
to soft filmy songs, that's all.

7) What are your career goals?

Ø My goal is simple: learn more, work more and give 100%,

never think any work is small, just love your work and
enjoy working.

Ø My short-term goal is to get a job in a company like

yours where I can utilize my skills and improve my
career path. My long term goal is to be in a
respectable position handling a bunch of people. I
would like to see myself in a position where I am
responsible for creating profit and revenue for my
company.

Ø My goal is to be a successful person in life both physically

and mentally.

8) Give me an example of your creativity?

Ø Creativity means creating something which is different

from something. For example, right now I am imagining
 you are my friend and I am giving this interview so that I
do not get nervous.

9) What is the difference between hard work and smart work?

Ø sir I think hard work is a continuous process it is never

ending and it will definitely lead to success to a person but
on the other hand smart work it is kind of shortcut which
we apply something to reach the same height I prepare
hard work first has if you are a hard worker then it will be
very easy for you to be a smart worker initially I wanted to
be a hard worker so that I can analyze the situation how to
treat them how to react in a situation then I will be smart
worker.

Ø Example for hard work reaching the building through step

is hard work example for smart work is teaching the
building through lift his smart work if the lips stop in
between, one cannot raise the destination if he uses tape
definitely, he will reach the destination.

10) What is the difference between confidence and overconfidence?

Ø Well, I would like to explain this answer by an example. If

I am saying I can do that this is my confidence and if I am
 saying only, I can do that, that is the part of my
overconfidence.

11) Why do you want to work at our company?

Ø Because I know this company will help me to

enhance my skills and gain more knowledge in the
industry, I am a fresher and I am looking forward for
an experience and experience where I can improve
myself better for the future if you are going to give
and chance to work with you, I will do my best my
sincerity and loyalty will be the sign of committing
myself to this company

12) What are your strengths and weaknesses?

Ø my strength is I am adoptive in any environment and I

am a person of positive attitude, hard working,
dedicated. My weakness is I am a person who
overthinks before doing anything tough because I
want to do everything perfectly.

Ø My biggest strength is my confidence. Apart from that

I am hardworking and self-motivated with a positive
attitude towards my career and my life. If I have a
problem then I think it is an opportunity for me to
express my ability. My weakness is that I tend to try
 to do too many things, leaving little time for myself. I
am staying forward and I can't say no when someone
asks for help.

Ø My greatest strength is my communication skill. I love

interacting with different people and I have patience
to listen to them. Many people approach me to help
them make decisions as they believe I am an
analytical thinker. My weakness is that I go by the
rules a lot. This sometimes hampers my progress as
I focus on doing the job with perfection rather than
meeting the deadlines. However, I am learning to ask
for help from others to expedite my own work.

13) What was good (good afternoon or good evening) in it?

Ø sir actually the weather was very pleasant and so it was

very refreshing for me and I was very excited for the
interview.

14) give an example from the past where you had to handle
pressure?

Ø sir the best example for this is that when I Was preparing
for my B-tech Examination for University test because
that's very big syllabus which we have to cover so there is
 lot of pressure on us and I have handled the pressure very
well

15) Are you comfortable with working 15 hours a day?

Ø yes sir there is no problem with that

16) What is success to you? / How do you evaluate success? /

How do you define success and how do you measure up to
your own definition?

Ø Success for me is being happy and satisfied with what you

have in your life and keep pushing yourself to do good and
reaching heights.

Ø Success is a moment, like for instance if I will be

placed in your company, that will be success for me.
Likewise after 10 years I want to be in the top
manager position of your company. I will be
successful. Definition of success with Time. So, in
brief at the end of the day and happy with your work
there you are successful.

Ø For me, success is not dependent on job

requirement. I can say I will succeed when I have
assured my target, even if I end up doing more than
what was expected. Basically, I am open to
 comments and corrections that help me to develop
and improve my career growth, and thoughts, I am
very open to learning new things. According to me,
constant fashion for acquiring knowledge and
improving self is the part to Success.

17) if some other organization gives you double the salary which
we are offering to you, will you switch to the organization?

Ø I will not switch that organization because you are the one
who has potential in me and I should be loyal to you and
try to make your company that much more efficient so that
you will be ready to give me that much salary.

18) so, what have you learned about our company?

Ø sir in the first few years it has reached a very good height
so I prepared for this because it's a very ambitious
company and it has a very good creative team and
designing head they are working very hard to do
something great in the society so that's why I want to be in
this company.

19) What have you learned from your father in the context of being
creative?
 Ø has he is very creative so I have learned to use wasting in a
productive manner there are many instant in our house
where we have used the waste product that we usually
throw away industry and garbage and we utilize in very
efficient way to take make something beautiful or
something helpful for example I have made many frame
from the use refills or paint and I have made a jar from the
newspaper that we give to people and use it as a ball to
place many item in it

20) What makes you think that you should be hired today?

Ø because I am eligible for the job and I have all the

capability that you want in a candidate to work for our
company like I am loyal, I am sincere, I am obedient and I
am a very quick learner and I want to do more and more.

21) Tell me something that you have learned recently?

Ø I am learning German right now it is very difficult to learn

a language which is not negative to you and which you
don't learn while you are in a school like Sanskrit and
English that we have learned in school so that become
easy for us to learn in future but this kind of language are
not easy so still I am working on it I hope that I will learn
it if your company provided me opportunity that there is a
 scope that I have to go to other country to build strong
relations in business sector then I think I will be more
appropriate candidate for that because it will be easy for
me to communicate with them as it is their native
language.

22) What kind of questions scare you?

that I have to choose in a situation between my family and my

wife/girlfriends. That situation's best question seriously hurt me.

23) if you are given rupees 10 lakh, what will you do?

Ø first of all I will secure half of the money in bank so that it

will be beneficial for me in the future and the rest of the
five I will be invest in something which I want to do in my
life as a extra business like I buy a shop I will give it to
my father as there are many dreams which he has
sacrificed for me so I want to do something for him.

24) If you want a 10 million lottery, will you still work?

Ø Definitely yes sir, I won't leave because money will

not teach anything but for a company will teach how
to earn more than 10 million monkeys. So, lieI will
continue my work.
25) Who has inspired you in life?

Ø My father has inspired me in life. He has faced many

problems in his life and still he stood on his feet fighting
like Warrior that's what I love about my father.

26) Will you lie for the company?

Ø It depends on the situation. If it is good for the

company but not Gill for anyone else. Then it will be
fine for me because as per my opinion if I used to lie
to somebody without any harm to anybody I wouldn't
bother to lie. But I can find an alternative way to
solve the problem because every problem has a
solution you just need to discover it.

Ø if the lie is not against the moral principle that we have

then definitely I will lie for you if it is not harming some
person then I definitely do it for company as it is
beneficial for us.

Ø I do not lie to advance personal or business goals.

There is always an honorable way to succeed and I
will always work towards genuinely and Success. As
long as I am in accordance with company and legal
guidelines, I would do what is best for the company
 and try to effectively resolve any issue that may
arise.

27) Tell me a similarity between a boss and a dog?

Ø they both are loyal to their owner like dogs are very much
loyal to their honour as well as bosses are loyal to their
company as they want their company to be in progress.

28) What makes you angry?

Ø Every human being will get angry when things around

him / her feel uncomfortable, even me also. But I
believe I have some skill to handle my anger to avoid
a necessary situation.

29) if you see your colleague being molested by another colleague

and if you call police then the name of the company gets degraded so
how will you tackle the situation?

Ø first of all, I will inform to the higher authorities or if the

company has any sale for handling this type of situation, I
will report it to that and request for quick action so that the
person will not to do it again and I also Comfort my friend
has he will be very upset after that situation.
30) If we hire you today, how soon can you start contributing in our
form?

Ø sir, as long as I learn the whole procedure and what the

company is doing and the work procedure and the work
culture then I will start my contribution.

31) Would you work as a team leader or team member?

Ø sir on initial phase has a pressure I want to be a team

member because team leader should be a experience
person who can tackle all the situation has I am not that
much experience right now so I would love to be a team
member instead of a team leader.

32) if you are in a situation that or roles are reversed then what kind
of question will you ask what kind of qualities will you see in a
candidate if you are where at our position?

Ø sir I want that candidate to be technically scared and

creative and loyal to the company and should be up to tea
and must have good communication skills.

33) What kind of question would you ask?

Ø sir I want to know from them what they have learned till
now and what project they have going through and the
 new things they can contribute to our company and the
new ideas they have with them.

34) What was the toughest phase of your life?

Ø Toughest phase is when I was suffering from disease is

called scissor disorder and there is three years medication
for it and you cannot go anywhere without someone with
you as far 3 years I was always accompanied by one of my
family member every time so that was the toughest phase
of my life has I was unable to do anything independently.

35) toughest decision of your life?

Ø it was when I was in class 10 and I had to choose a stream

because I was kind of all around her so I love all subjects.
There was no subject in particular so it was very difficult
for me to choose between all those.

36) How much percentage do you want to give soft skills to a

person?

Ø it really depends on the position which you are going for. If

you go for the marketing sector you are hired for that
position. Then the stop skill percentage will be higher than
hard skill is more important than soft skin so it really
depends on the position which a person hired for.

 Ø Sir, as I mentioned, I am a good learner. I like to learn
new things with interest so I think I can prove myself
with better qualities whichever qualities you need.

39) But what if you have a deadline for the project and as you
said that you are a hard worker but you need to do that work in
a deadline so you will be taking more time?

Ø No sir, have I said I have worked a lot. Nowadays I

am doing both. I am working smartly not like before,
so now I can learn fast and quickly and will complete
my task on time.

40) What if we hire your best friend but not you?

Ø Sir you are the judge right now you know better who
deserves the most. I will be happy for him and will
learn from my mistake.

41) Can you travel across the country? Want your parents to
have any problem with that?

Ø No, my parents are comfortable till I am comfortable. If I

am not comfortable, they will not be. It is my own decision.

42) Are you willing to change your role and profile when
required for a project?
 Ø Definitely, I will. As a beginner, I will be more than
happy to learn as many things as possible and make
the best out of the opportunity forth in front of me.
Because, the opportunity to take up a different role
itself, will help me in my career growth of which I am

43) Are you ready to relocate or travel if necessary?

Ø My job is my primary priority and where I stay is my

Secondary priority. So yes, I can, relocate provides
me to know a new culture, new atmosphere and new
people to share the new thing and I improve the kill
of me.

Ø as I am a fresher salary is not an issue for me.

my initial days, I want to improve my knowledge and

52) Why have you changed jobs so frequently?

 Ø Actually, my boss left hand the work environment
changed

me to do

Ø I heat a ceiling and couldn't grow has fast has I

wanted

Ø I had a personal issue. I was carrying one of my sick

family members who needed medical care.

53) Why are you shifting from non-IT to IT?

Ø I have always been fascinated by the idea of

programming and coding all though I did not
graduate in CS or IT I have worked on my take skills
has you can see on my resume I have undertaken an
internship and completed two projects on IT topics
Ø During my graduation I realized the potential of IT and
programming. There is so much potential and no
boundaries in this field and the best part about it is
that anyone with curiosity can join IT and learn to
program. That is why I want to switch from my core
branch.
