1. Why do you think having a career plan is important to an individual?

 For me having a career plan is a must that each individual should have.
Through this it will helps you to keep in line and focused on your goal. Though
planning your career can be difficult because of the unexpected instances
during your journey but should still have optional plans if anything goes wrong
on your initial plan.

2. Based on your program right now, what do you think are your strengths or
expertise?
 Base on my program I think my strength would be into Soil Mechanics, in my
years studying my program the only topic that really catches my interest is the
Soil Mechanics. Because its easy to understand, basically you just need to
understand the problem and directly substitute to the formula to determine
missing variables. I chose this because I am very fond of solving
mathematical problems which I think is my strength.

1. If you were to write your own resume, what type of resume would you use and
please explain why?
 For the resume type I would definitely used the Combined for its orderly
structure. It is easy to look and understand. It highlights the most important
things my employer needs to know about me. And its aesthetically pleasing to
the eyes.

2. Using the STAR method answer the following job interview question:
a. Tell me something about yourself.
 My Name is Angelique Esquilla. I’m 24 years old. Living in Malabon City. I
love reading books and very much into math subject. I love to discover new
learnings as well and I am a very flexible person and a professional one as
well. I am very open to new opportunities and willing to learn and adjust.
b. How do you see yourself 10 years from now?
 Ten years from now I see myself as a grown woman with her own
Construction Company. I have my own house and cars. I was able to make a
change in the construction Industry. My name is one of the household name
in the construction industry.
c. What are your strength and weaknesses?
 My strength is that I am working with integrity, I made sure that my values in
workplace is firm. I am also a flexible person either in work or with my
workmates. I am very open for changes. While my weaknesses are being an
overthinker and perfectionist that gives me anxiety. But I do believe that
sometimes this weakness of mine can also be my strength.
d. Why do you want to work in this company?
 I love to work with your company and become a part of it because of your
marvelous ideas when it comes to constructing structures. Your company is
not just focusing to build structures that are aesthetically gorgeous to the eyes
but also setting standards for the future of building structures. And besides
the company always thinks how they can give back to the community which I
think is the responsibility of every contractor, or civil engineering because for
me engineering is there help the community.
e. What is your greatest achievement?
 My greatest achievement was my Diploma. It was a tough journey just to get
that piece of a paper that will change my future. I’ve worked so hard just to
get my diploma, just to suffice all of my finances in school or personal needs.
It is something that I am really proud of because it opens my eyes to the
reality on how the world where I live in works.
f. Why should we hire you?
  You should hire me because I will be the next most outstanding employee of
the month in this company. My integrity in workplace is not matched by the
salary that you will offer to me. My loyalty cannot be defied by any incentives
that you can give. I want to be in your company not because its big or famous
but I am applying to gain knowledge and help you improved the company.
g. How do you handle pressure?
 For me to handle pressure I closed my eyes and do a breathing exercise
once I calm myself, I think thoroughly what I need to do. I am not an impulsive
person who decides without thinking what will going to be the outcome of my
decisions.
h. What’s your salary expectation?
 As I’ve since I was a fresh graduate, I am not really looking for the amount of
salary you can give I am really for a company that will help me grow in this
industry.

3. In your own view, what are your considerations in choosing a job?

 For me its always been the management and environment. Salary my priority
in looking for the job its more on how can I grow on the company.
4. If you have applied for about three to five companies for your internship and two
of them accepted your application and asked you to report immediately, what
would you do.
 I go to both companies that accepted my application but not the same day. I
will weigh which company can provide better experience and better
management then I will decide on which company I will do my internship

 CRAFTSMANSHIP
 We should have this as a part of the company because the company’s
success is also our success. The more the outcomes are good the more
client the company will have and it means more income and possible salary

 This is one of the essential things a company needs on its employees
because company’s wants employees that will last long. Because companies
invested already in time and money to hone the talents of their employees.
 TEAMWORK
 With just one mind the outcome can be good but having multiple options and
ideas makes an outcome the best.

 Definitely because personal point of view should be separated to professional
point of view. And the skills, ideas and intelligence of a person is not dictated
by one’s culture.

 Gender must not be an issue because we have different strength and
weaknesses. One person cannot be perfect. The capabilities of a person is
not defined by his/her gender.

 I am with ACTION, because I believe that even though you think you can do it
and you’ve planned so well but without action everything was just in vain. I
am a person that really looks for the outcome of the actions made. We cannot
create something plausible if we’ll just think of it we need to move to make it a
dream come true.

 It will help you enjoy your stay at work and harmonious relationship in
workplace will encourage to do better. Working in an environment which good
gives great outcomes.
5. In your own words, why do you think dining etiquette is important when you start
working in the industry?
 It is important because in the industry there are business talks that are done
in fine dining’s. And as a professional it is a must because through you can
also show respect to your co workers of business partners.
