Lesson Proper Duration Activities
Introduction
Begin by asking students what they understand by
5 minutes the term "justice" and how they think it contributes
to peace within a community. Encourage them to
share their thoughts and ideas.

Icebreaker Activity
Activity: "Chain Reaction"
 Have students stand in a circle.
 Start by sharing a positive action they have
done for someone else (e.g., helped a friend
with homework, shared their lunch, listened to
someone in need).
 After sharing, they will pass a ball of yarn to
another student in the circle, creating a web of
interconnected actions.
 Each student shares, passing the yarn until
everyone has contributed, creating a visual
representation of interconnectedness and
community.

Multimedia Exploration
Show a short video clip or presentation that depicts
scenarios where justice and peace intersect within a
community. This could include examples of conflict
resolution, fair decision-making, or acts of kindness
that promote harmony.

Small Group Discussion

10 minutes Divide students into small groups and assign each

group a scenario related to justice and peace within a
community. Ask them to discuss:
 How they would define justice in this scenario.
 What actions they think would promote peace
and harmony.
 Any potential challenges or obstacles they
might face in achieving justice and peace in
this situation.
Sample Activities per Theme (select 1 activity):
Each group will choose one activity related to their
scenario from the following options:
 Role-playing: Act out the scenario,
emphasizing the importance of justice and
peace.
 Hands-on Activities: Create a visual
representation (e.g., a mural or sculpture) that
illustrates their understanding of justice and
peace in the scenario.
 Creative Activities: Design a poster or write a
slogan that captures the essence of justice and
peace within the given context.
