ULTRA SOUND REPORT

ABDOMINAL ULTRASOUND REPORT


The liver is of normal parenchymal echo texture and echo pattern.
There are no liver masses or enlarged lymph nodes noted.
The abdominal vasculature (aorta, IVC, HV and PV) are not dilated.
Pancreas is enlarged and appear inflamed. The pancreatic head measures 2.80 cm.
The spleen is normal in size and echo texture.
The biliary system (GB, CBD and cystic duct) appear normal. There are no gallstones noted.
Both kidneys show normal cortical-medullary differentiation. No hydronephrosis or calculi
noted within. No abdominal mass lesion noted, no obvious retroperitoneal disease/ascites or
peritonitis noted.
Right Kidney measures (8.55 x 5.41) cm while Left Kidney measures (9.19 x 5.73) cm.
The appendix is normal.
The urinary bladder is well extended with a normal wall outline.
IMPLICATION;

Features suggestive of Acute pancreatitis
