El Zambo Cavero was a renowned singer-songwriter and interpreter of several hymns of

Peruvian music. He was born on November 29, 1940 in an alley known as the White Flag in

the center of Lima and died on October 9, 2009. In life he was the most representative voice

of the Creole waltz and participated in the revaluation of this musical genre. In 1987 he was

declared artistic patrimony of America by the OEA together with other great exponents.

A famous person that I admire a lot is César Vallejo, he was a well-known poet and writer in

Peru. He was born on March 16, 1892 in the city of La Libertad. He passed away on April

15, 1938.He wrote poetry collections such as Los Heraldos Negros and Trilce. He also wrote

short stories like Escalas.
