RATE OF FLOW

This principle affects me personally when pouring water from water dispensers
to drink. When there is little water in the dispenser, it pours out more slowly than
when it is full. It can also be applied to draining canned products which contain
liquids such as canned juices, peas, corn etc.
This principle affects the average person in society when washing clothes and
draining water out of the machine after rinsing. At first, while it is filled with soapy
water, the rate at which it drains out of the pipe is much higher than when it is less
full. Other household appliances which this can apply to are: water tanks, spray cans
for agriculture and overall leaky bottles in general.
