Text 1: Two engineering students invented a new generation fire extinguisher that
puts out flames by only playing heavy bass. And now, we don't have to rely on water
or chemicals anymore. 
It might sound like an amazing party-toy but this sonic fire extinguisher actually can
put out a fire with sound waves spread through a mobile subwoofer gun. The tech
was so genius that the project soon went viral the and duo started appearing on
local TV and in other media.

Text 2: The universe is expanding at an ever-accelerating rate. At least, that's what

the vast majority of scientists would have you believe. But according to a team of
Spanish physicists, it may not be the expansion of the universe that's changing rate,
but time itself. Time might be slowing down, and that means that it could eventually
stop altogether.

Text 3: One of the biggest problems with radically changing centuries-old

pedagogical methods is that no generation of parents wants their children to be the
guinea pigs.

Text 4: Over the years, technological advancements have come a long way.
Artificial intelligence, blockchain and the internet of things are improving customer
experience and making marketing and sales more scientific than ever with
customer intent data, fit data, trends, patterns and more.

Let’s take a look at China. Its progress in the tech sector with robotics and AI has
transformed it into a major economic force in the global economy. Reports from
Accenture revealed that AI has the potential to add as much as 1.6% to China’s
economic growth rate by 2035.

On the other side of the equation, technology brings its own risks. Research
firm Gartner predicts that 1.8 million human jobs will be lost to AI by 2020. This
stems from the fact that AI can automate mundane jobs, putting many people out of
work. Another major threat is that AI is on its way to becoming sentient, which could
pose a threat to humanity.

Though we are not impeding advancements in technology, perceived threats such

as the ones discussed above translate into resistance toward adopting technology
on a larger scale. One way to make these technology advancements seamless is to
understand them for what they are.
