• Materials:
① Activity Sheet 8 - Photocopiable from page 127
(Also printable from Teacher Resource CD)
② a pouch/bag and scissors (per pair)

• How to play:
① Give each student a copy of Activity Sheet 8.
② Pair up students and give each pair a pouch and scissors.
③ Students cut out the picture cards and spread them face up on the desk. They cut out the word cards and put them in
the pouch. There should be two sets of picture cards on the desk and two sets of word cards in the pouch.
④ In turn, students draw a word card from the pouch, choose the right picture, and say the sentence. For example, Those
are books. When performed successfully, students win the stars on the word card. If there is no picture card left that
matches the word card, they cannot win any stars.
⑤ The student with more stars wins the game.
