Activity Type Introduction

Reading and writing This demonstrative adjectives worksheet helps students learn and
activity practice how to use 'this', 'that', 'these' and 'those' as adjectives.

Preparation
Make one copy of the
two-page worksheet for
each student.
Procedure
Give each student a copy of the two-page worksheet.
Students begin by reading sentences containing demonstrative
adjectives and looking at a picture. The students then write the
demonstrative adjectives in the correct location in the table.
Exercise A - Answer key

Next, students use the picture to complete a crossword and clues
with animal names, adding 's' if there is more than one animal.

Time Students then use picture prompts to complete a shopping

conversation with this, that, these or those.
