New Zeland

New zeland is an island country in the

soutwester Pacific Ocean. It consists of
two main islands: the North Island and
the South Island, and numerous smaller
islands.

The capital of New Zeland is Wellington

and the biggest city is Auckland. The
population is about 4,471,000 people.

Most people in New Zeland speak

English. Other language is Māori
and some people use Sign Language.

New Zealand is very mountainous.

Forests occupy a large part of the
islands. Rain falls there evenly
throughout the year and the climate is
warm.

Wellington is located at the south-

western tip of the North Island. It’s
Cultural Centre of New Zeland. There
are lots of museums, theatres and
cinemas there. Wellington is film-
making centre of this country. There
are many movie studios at the eastern
suburb of Miramar.
Landscapes of New Zeland are really
beautifull and they are shown in lots of
films like Lord of the Rings, Hobbit.
Every year many people come here for
summer holiday.
