Writing Research is one of the competencies of all Senior Highschool students.

A
study that was conducted in USA by Alexis (2019), Her result shows that research
can help students to nourish their interests, to learn something new, to hone
their problem-solving skills and to challenge the senior highschool student in new
ways. Research can help the students improve the abilities,skills, and talents that
can be acquire from doing research. But in the amdist of performing a particular
research there are some unavoidable factors that the grade 11 SMAW senior high
school students face.

In the philippines there are about 2,689,137 Senior Highschool students (Charie,
2022). This count incude the Grade 12 and also the Grade 11 students number. Grade
11 SMAW students are one of the Senior Highschool students who also perform
research. A study coducted by Rentaro (2015), His study shows that some of Grade 11
SMAW senior highschool students also encountered some difficulties in undertaking
group research projects. These were attributed to their prior learning experiences,
differences in valuing towards interpersonal communication, understanding of the
research process, and social relationships with others. It seems that there are
various factors that are affecting the grade 11 SMAW students performace in
undertaking research.
