SUMMARY

The definition seems simple: it is the ability to perceive, understand, express and

manage emotions in a positive way. Those who cultivate it are more likely to

successfully manage stress by having a superb output.

It is affected by emotions on a daily basis due to its component characteristics. The

concept of emotional intelligence is understood as the ability to know and manage one's

own and others' feelings and emotions, interpreting them and achieving a sense of

accomplishment. Emotional intelligence can regulate stress and coping strategies to deal

with it. High levels of emotional intelligence were negatively associated with burnout

and low productivity, while they were positively associated with personal achievement

and the development of more effective coping strategies.

The most relevant aspects that define good emotional intelligence are mental clarity and

emotional resilience. The importance of conducting training workshops on emotional

intelligence skills to increase job satisfaction is considered. All parts of self -awareness.

It is important to learn how your mind reacts to stimuli to learn to identify your

emotions and manage them when they threaten your inner balance. This is the basis of

stress management.

Taking into account that stress is very harmful to health since it causes the defenses to

decrease, makes the body vulnerable, affects concentration, alters emotions, makes

people irritable and can even cause them to become depressed, it is of utmost

importance to manage emotions because it helps greatly in the treatment in conjunction

with the doctor to reduce the effects of chronic stress and promote a better quality of life

for the patient who suffers from it.


INTRODUCTION

This monographic work refers to the importance of managing emotions to avoid chronic

stress. Thus, stress can be described as a situation of overload or pressure that affects a

person and that depends both on the demands of the situation and on the person's

resources to deal with it.

Indeed, it is a feeling of physical or emotional tension that occurs automatically and

naturally when faced with situations or thoughts that are threatening, frustrating, or

challenging.

In the same way we can mention that it is possible to manage stress in an adequate way

to reduce and mitigate its impact on our health. As? On the one hand, acting on its

cause, and on the other, increasing our resistance to it, through tools that help us accept

these circumstances and improve our behavior in the face of them, and with the

incorporation of healthy lifestyle habits. Likewise, in this research work, we will

analyze the importance of combating an excessive amount of stress that can cause

problems in our health such as a deficit in our immune system, and conditions in the

cardiovascular system and the central nervous system. Sometimes these conditions can

be severe, so exposing yourself to high levels of stress for a long time can be really

dangerous. It is worth mentioning that when it becomes a chronic ailment it cannot be

managed without a drastic change in our routine and due therapeutic support.
JUSTICATION

This is a fundamental practice for prior analysis to understand that stress is often

described as feeling overwhelmed, worried, and exhausted. Stress can affect people of

any age, gender and personal circumstances and can lead to both physical and

psychological health problems.

Likewise, this monographic work will be very useful not only to collect information, but

also to take into account that stress can also cause serious emotional damage. People

can cope well with mild bouts of stress by using the body's natural defenses to adapt to

changes.

OBJECTIVES

1. To analyze the importance of managing emotions to prevent chronic stress.

2. To understand the impact of stress on people's health.

3. To recognize the causes that favor the appearance of chronic stress.
