Pinkie Pie is baking cupcakes at Sugarcube
Corner when Mrs Cakes gets a special letter.
‘Princess Cadance and Shining Armor want a
cake made to celebrate some good news they’re going
tp have a baby!’ Mrs Cake Says.
‘The baby news is a secret, Pinkie. You must not
tell anypony.’ Mrs Cake warns.
‘Oh no, I have to keep a secret!’ gulps Pinkie Pie.
Later Penkie Pie joins her friends in Twilight
Sparkle’s castle. ‘I’m throwing a party for Shining
Armor and Princess Cadance,’ says Twilight.
‘and?’ Pinkie Pie asks.
‘And … that’s all the news,’ says Twilight. Pinkie
Pie frowns. She still has to keep the secret.

 ‘Let’s decorate the castle as a
surprise for Shining Armor,’ says
Twilight Sparkle.
Talking about surprises makes
Pinkie Pie nervous. She dresses up
in Shining Armor’s old helmet and
tries to hide from her friends.
‘Look , Shining Armor’s baby toy,’ laughs Twilight
finding Pinkie’s hiding spot.
Hearing the world ‘baby’ scares Pinkie Pie. ‘It it okay
to tell someone’s secret?’ Pinkie asks her friends. ‘No, it’s
not,’ says Rarity sternly.
‘I need to get out of here or else I moght tell the
secret,’ says Pinkie pie to herself and races back to
Sugarcube Corner.
Pinkie bakes some cupcakes and almost she has a
secret. The Mr. Cakes asks her to deliver some orders.
‘How will keep the secret if I’m out making
deliveries?
I’ll have to talk to ponies,’ she thinks worriedly.

First, Pinkie Pie tries wearing a disguise,
but the Cutie Mark Crusaders can
tell it’s Pinkie. ‘Why are you wearing a
disguise Pinkie?’ they all laugh.
‘Are you hiding something?’
‘No!’ she shouts as she takes off her disguise and hurries
past. Next, Pinkie Pie sees Fluttershy.
‘Pinkie, can you bring baby carrots to the party?’
Fluttershy asks. ‘Baby carrots?!’ says Pinkie Pie, then
shuts her mouth tightly and dashes away.
‘Phew, that was close!’ she says. ‘The only way to
keep this secret is to keep way fro, everypony.’
For the rest her deliveries, Pinkies Pie wears her
helmet and zips quickly past other ponies before they can
even say hello.
Once her errands are run, Pinkie Pie is very tired.
‘Oh no, I still have to go to the party,’ she thinks.
At the castle, all the ponies are busy getting ready.
Pinkie Pie offers around some snacks. She tries to
keep out the way.

Shortly after, Princess Cadance and Shinning Armor
arrive for the party.
 Shining Armor has a game for the ponies. ‘I have a
set of clues for you to find,’ he says. ‘The first clue where
do young ones spend their week?’ ‘I know!’ says Twilight
Sparkle. ‘The Ponyville Schoolhouse.’
The Ponies gallop off and find another clue in the
schoolhouse. ‘It says to look for Applejack’s birth
certificate,’ says Fluttershy.
Pinkie Pie dashes to the town hall. She finds
Applejack’s birth certificate and the next falls out.
‘Find a place to buy beds for little heads,’ Pinkie says,
reading it loud.

‘The baby shop!’ the ponies shout. At the baby shop,
next clue is stuck on a cot. It tells them: ‘take a break
where you can get slice of cake’.
 The ponie race to Sugarcube Corner. They are
surprised to find Shining Armor and Princess Cadance
waiting for them.
Princess Cadance and Shining Armor stand back to
reveal a beautiful cake. ‘we are going to have a baby!’
they announce.
Pinkie Pie is very happy for them … and very
relieved. ‘I did it! I kept the secrect!’ she cries.
‘Thank you for keeping the secret, Pinkie Pie,’ says
Cadance. Pinkie Pie laughs. ‘Aw, it was a piece of cake.’
