ANA AND THE WONDERLAND

Ana fell asleep in a jeep on her way to Naga City. She woke up in a completely different
reality.
Ana woke up in the middle of the crowd. She is confused about why people are
gathering around her and she thought she was the one why that happens, but it was the
girl beside her. Now she noticed that she was inside the castle of Prince Kyle and
suddenly a lady grabs her hands and go to the corner of the hall. Since Anna is still
confused, she explains what happened to her and that she was just on a trip on the way
to Naga City where she was about to attend her scheduled examination for a
scholarship at Ateneo De Naga University. And when she woke up, she was setting in a
glowing circle with a star in the middle of it and was surrounded by the crowd. After
hearing it from the lady, the lady introduces herself as a doctor in the castle. She
explains that in this world they believed that once in a century they will summon a saint
from another world that prophecy said will heal their land from destruction and eliminate
their enemies. And she said their enemies are monsters that eat humans alive while
drinking their fresh blood. Since it’s the right time to summon the saint, the prince leads
the ritual since Prince Kyle was the Level 5 Mage in the country. The ritual of
summoning was successful but today is different, it should be only one person to be
summoned but now there are two. And the other one didn’t notice (Anna) by the prince
because the people already gathered and unintentionally uncared for the other
summoned girl.
Anna asked the doctor when she can go back. The doctor said she didn’t know
because once the summoned saint was already here, she should live here and continue
to serve people until her last breath. Anna feels bad for that girl that was summoned
too. Anna asks the doctor if she can’t go back, and how can she live in this world if she
doesn’t have shelter. The doctor gladly said, “You can live with me”. From that time
Anna accepted that for now that she can’t able to go back and her life in the other world
is so poor and miserable, she accepted that she should live there until the discovery of
the ritual to go back to her world. Anna did live in the doctor’s house near the castle.
Day by day, she learned a lot from the doctor and she enjoys it a lot of reasons why she
wanted to become a doctor too.
One day while Anna is picking up herbals in the backyard of the laboratory for
examinations, she accidentally hurt herself with the knife and cuts her finger
unintentionally. Her fingers are bleeding so she rushes to go inside the lab but when
she entered the lab and was about to inform her superiors that she cut herself when she
looked at her fingers, she stopped walking. The wound is gone, on that time she
discovered that in that world she can heal herself if she’s wounded. But Anna didn’t tell
anyone and began to test her ability at many things. And she mastered healing secretly
on her own. She can now heal not just herself but also the animals and he can also
grow plants with her hands if she holds them with concentration.
One day, while exploring the garden Anna bumped into a soldier. The soldier has a
high-rank position because Anna noticed their clothing is different from an ordinary one.
When the soldier removed his helmet/gear, Anna’s world stopped. She saw a good-
looking man with white skin, blue eyes, black hair, and tall. Anna feels shy and can’t talk
when the soldier introduces himself. Anna meets Jack, a level 3 mage, with ice, and
wind ability and he was the brother of Prince Kyle but in a different woman.
They gladly shake hands in apology, Jack felt something while holding Anna’s
hands but he can’t explain it. They continue to meet each other and without noticing
they fall in love. One day Jack invited Anna for a picnic near the river at the back of the
castle and Anna agreed. Jack gave Anna his necklace as a gift and a symbol of his love
for her.
Anna was the first one who arrived that day because of her excitement to meet Jack.
While at the consensus place, Anna hears some groans as a tiger, she forsook it
because of her presumption it was just passing by. Suddenly, she hears the sound
approaching, and a bear-like monster with tentacles jumps in front of her. The monster
is about to hit Anna for sure but suddenly a strong wind approached the monster and
the monster froze all of a sudden. Anna was so scared and her body is shaking. Jack
apologizes to Anna and hugs her but the monster is not alone. Jack is about to use his
magic and freeze everything but he noticed that he was with Anna, and thinks Anna
might get hurt too. So, he used only his sword to fight them. Jack knows that these
monsters are strong and only his magic can defeat them but he can’t use it. Anna fights
her fear and helps Jack to slay the monsters.
The battle goes on and on until they were tired. Jack is wounded but Anna is not. Then
a slimy thing approaches Anna and everything if the slime passed from it will vanish, in
short, the slime can emissive acid. More slims still approach and Jack can’t freeze them
all without noticing a big slime is about to jump on Anna’s head. Anna closed her eyes
but, in a rush, Jack saved Anna, the slime has attached its body to Jack’s arms. Jack
screamed in pain and his arms vanished in a second. Fortunately, Jack’s subordinates
came and helped them, they also fight the monsters and it was a big advantage for
them because some has the ability of fire, water, lightning, land, and more.
They win the fight and killed the monsters but the area turned into a dry land because
the monster’s blood is so destructive to living things, especially the slimes. They brought
Jack to the laboratory and Jack lost consciousness because of too much blood lost in
him. Anna blamed herself for what happened to Jack. The doctor said Jack won’t make
it, that Jack will die in an hour not just because of the blood lost in him but also the
poison from the slimes that prevailing his immune system.
Anna burst into tears blaming herself and trying to wake Jack but Jack didn’t respond to
her calls. And suddenly, a green and sparkling light shocked the people there was a big
circle where Anna is standing with a mark of Gem of Life inside it. Anna is praying that
she can save Jack from death. Then the circle got bigger and bigger that almost
conquered the whole hospital and the light was still radiant with sparkling green colors.
In just a minute, Jack’s arms were restored, the ill patients were healed, the wounded
soldiers were healed, and animals, deadwood, and dead plants turned back to live. And
when Anna opened her eyes, Jack came back to life, as well as everyone. Anna was so
happy but her sight turns black and her body collapsed.
Anna’s power secretly meets its limitations. Anna saw herself die in that world. Her
actions to save everyone, especially the prince (Jack) proved that she was the saint
they were looking for. Price Kyle blamed himself for what happened to the real Saint.
But Anna is still so happy seeing her beloved return to life.
And in-those moment, a golden white light appears and Anna thinks it was a portal back
to her real world. But before Anna entered it, she kissed Jack on his forehead, Jack
feels Anna’s presence and said “Goodbye, I hope I can meet you again” Anna replied,
“Me too”.

Anna left that world with a smile. She was too happy to meet Jack. Then Anna heard
noises, she arrived at the terminal. The driver said “Your necklace is so beautiful I wish I
have one too”, Anna looked at her neck and saw the necklace that Jack gave her. Anna
was so happy to realize that it wasn’t a dream, it was real, Jack is real. Anna rides a
tricycle to Ateneo De Naga University, and when she entered the University’s gate, she
bumped into a guy she saw that he looks exactly like Jack (eyes, nose, ears, hair,
height, body, voice, etc.) that she meets in the Fantasy world and they both said
“Excuse me, did we meet each other? You look familiar” and after saying it both of them
was shocked and turns red. They felt that they are not strangers. So, they touched each
other’s hand and all of a sudden, they felt their hearts beating so fast. Having a feeling
of what is missing has been found.
