INTRODUCTION

a. Hook sentence: Anguished students at New Jersey school where bullies drove
girl, 14, to suicide say they're still being tortured into self-harm as staff turn a
blind-eye to their tormentors. School is supposed to be a place where it is safe for
parents to put their children in, but due to what happened, i don't think school is
no longer a good and safe place for their children.
b. Bullying causes depression, suicidal ideation, and suicide attempts among adolescents and
should thus be taken severe action against.'

a. If we let this keep going on, many more cases will happen and more people will
die
1. Imagine how much depression the person can get even just by the hatred
words they receive. Words are swords, as said in Proverbs 12:18 “The
Tongue Sharper Than A Two Edged Sword” and in psalms 34:13
“Reckless words pierces like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings
healing”.
2. Without any action to solve this issue, it will lead to more deaths and
more chaos among the person himself and the families related to the
issue. Imagine when a parent of a child found out that their child has
been murdered by someone due to the hurtful words that comes out of
their mouths
b. Impacts toward people who were bullied is more likely to fail in life due to trauma
1. Bullying really impacts the way a person feel about themselves. An
example is when a confident dark skinned person going through the
hallway and people were staring and laughing at him. Hearing those
laughters can ruin his confidence.
2. Bullying can also create fear amongst the people which causes lots of
people to prefer being home than going outside and hearing people make
fun of them due to their looks. This type of cruelty is illegal and should be
stopped since victims will most likely gain real trauma and cant live a good
and happy life worrying about what others will say about them.
c. Protection from getting bullied (contradict to argument)
1. Sometimes, people bully in order to not get bullied due to the fear of what
will happen to them when they're getting bullied. It is good that bullying
can also be a protection but WHY BULLYING? If you dont wanna be bullied,
Why bully others? Aren't you being selfish? Do you want the good all to
urself and the bad for others?
2. Bullying has lots of causes. Maybe because the person has ever been
bullied and doesnt wanna get bullied anymore and so, they had to follow
the instructions of the bully to be safe from bullying.

Conclusion:
a. Summary: Bullying (exposure to both victims and bullies) increases the risk of
depression, suicidal ideation,and suicidal attempts amongst adolescents.
Although a bully has a reason why they bully others, we should think about others
too and not ourselves. Due to this, i think we should prevent this from happening
by giving consequences for the bullies instead of letting it be.
b. Benefit to readers: those who reads this will think twice before bullying people
and for the victims, they may be more understanding to the bullies and what they
gone through.
c. Call for action: Let us all work together to create a warm and comfortable
environment for us to live in, let us all work together to make this world a better
place and respect people around us in order for us to have a better future.
