Good day everyone, let me introduce myself, my name is Chris and I am a member from
group 1 and today I would like to give you a general overview of communication skills.
What is communication skill and I think i would like to divide our presentation into 3
main points and the first one is a problem-solving skill, the second point will be
teamwork skills and the last one is self-awareness.

I'm going to develop three main points. First, solving problem in comunication skills. You
will learn how to approach others about issues in a way that minimizes accusations,
hostility and defensiveness. You'll be equipped to better understand the other person,
avoid giving gratuitous advice, and help them develop “ownership” of their own
problems.

Second, Teamwork is being able to mediate problems between team members. You need
to be able to negotiate with your team members to settle disputes and make sure everyone
is happy with the team’s choices. And it develops trust, builds camaraderie among the
team members, boosts morale, and helps employees stay engaged in the workplace.

The next point that I want to talk about is self-awareness. Self-awareness can be
understood as the ability to look inward, to think deeply about your behavior, and to
consider how it aligns with your ethical standards and values.

It may seem like such an obvious example of self-awareness, but knowing and practicing
the idea of your thoughts becoming actions is easier said than done. What you think has
power, especially if you are aware of those thoughts.

However, the thoughts you aren't aware of can be even more damaging if you don't
practice your self-awareness and develop a deeper sense of awareness for your mind.
For example, while you are giving a presentation, and the audience is not paying attention
to the slide you are presenting. Realizing that you can come up with good ways to get
your audience to focus on the content.

In conclusion, These are the three main ways that communication can be beneficial for
someone who wants to improve how they communicate. Everyday tasks depend on
effective communication, which can make the difference between doing them
successfully and failing. Effective communication is a skill that may be used to develop a
wide range of other skills, including teamwork, problem-solving, and self-awareness.
There is no end to the number of new skills you can learn once this is employed
effectively.
