I chose the Superhero genre because its my favourite of the three.

Why did you select this?

I was bored of horror, and don’t know anything about teen coming of age
stories. I also don’t find teen coming of age stories very interesting. I like
Super Hero films because they are full of interesting ideas.

Why did you select this?

Because it sounded fun and challenging and something I hadn’t really
done before. Though I had done work on the Blair witch project. And I
wanted a hand-held camera feel to the clip. But later I forgot about the
idea.

Why did you select this? I like super hero films and wanted to create my own take on the genre
also it sounded fun to do and I could test my photoshop skills.

PART THREE: THE CREATIVE PROCESS

Looking at other posters for inspiration, like what tone I was going for and
what tagline suited the films tone.
Looking at professional posters to see how they do it.
By comparing the films backgrounds e.g., rainy or sunny, optimistic or
gloomy.
Analysing trailers because I didn’t know what I was analysing. Also, I
couldn’t use most of the camera angles.
I didn’t find much inspiration I could use in my twenty second trailer.
PART TWO: PLANNING
Combining what went well with my first two drafts into the best of both.
Typing a list of what I would do differently, then doing the list
Drawing a poster of what I was going to do.
Looking at both drafts and using what looked best on each, also typing
out a list.
I did not really stick to the script for my twenty second trailer because I
thought it would be longer and I went over ambitious. I also did not use
some of the props listed or any actors.
So, I did not really follow the script at all.
Because I thought the teaser trailer would be longer than it was, so I
planned more. Also, I shot at home instead of college like I thought.
I had fans of comic books in my mind, because I made the font look
drawn on by making it diagonal on the front to give it a scribbled-on
look.
(I did this on second draft) my final draft had this but the font looked
more faded on and less hand drawn (the fonts didn’t save so I had to
change it.)
It appeals to the target audience by looking like a somewhat gloomy
superhero movie, that is for people who like the absurd.
 My final design conveyed all the satire and seriousness of the poster I was

I learned how to duplicate two layers then turn one layer white, and put it

PART FIVE: FINAL THOUGHTS

What challenges did you face on I struggled to edit my promo trailer together because all the clips were
