Food Grain Disinfestations

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

Food grain disinfestations has an ever growing demand, owing to the damage of food
grains that happen during grain handling and storage. The researchers gain a study on how to
prolong the preservation of the gains and avoid spoilage during storage by using direct solar
drying and hot air drying. In the Philippines, the farmers and agriculturists are struggling on how
they preserve their gains for longer time. In Tarlac Province the major source of income is
farming, that’s why the researchers took a study to help them
This study seeks to determine the effectiveness of disinfestation as targeted method for
drying the food grains.
Specifically, it aims to answer the following questions:
1. What is the result obtained and the outcome of the study?
2. How long does it take in disinfecting grains and how easy for people to do so?
3. How expensive the equipment and how to make them budget friendly for farmers and
agriculturist?

OBJECTIVE
The main objective of this study are as follows:

1. To evaluate the result obtained and outcome of the study.

2. To determine how long it takes to disinfecting the grains also make it user friendly.
3. To determine the cost of the equipment and make it affordable to the farmers and
agriculturists.
