Laboratory Exercise # 2

Name: Sumndad Jasmine T. Date: February 11, 2023

Section: BSAM-3B Deadline: February 13, 2023

I. Introduction

The subphylum Hexapoda comprises most species of arthropods and includes insects as well as
three much smaller groups of wingless arthropods. Insects have been divided into orders to make
them easier to categorize, with all members of each order sharing similar physiological
characteristics.

Objectives

● To make classification easier

● To learn about relationships between insects and their environment
● To know the importance of habitat

Materials

In this laboratory the materials I used are are internet because I search for information about insects
orders and also I used papers and a laptop

Methodology

 To make classification easier. and to understand how insects live, what they eat, and how they
interact with their surroundings.

 Study the insects orders.
