We communicate to connect to a person to have a conversation.

It
can be delivered by talking or using some sign language to be able to
have feedback to the receiver but there are times that there are some
interruptions or we might call it barriers.
Good afternoon, everyone. Today, we will discuss some barriers
that might affect the communication. Many of us can be affected of it
because of interruption and disturbance when we we’re having a talk or
gathering information. There are many hindrances that we might contact
but there are some ways to avoid it. However, we will focus more about
the barriers.
Communication barriers can be anything that makes it difficult or
impossible for communicators to reach the appropriate audience at the
appropriate moment or for a recipient to understand the appropriate
message at the appropriate time. There are 4 common barriers that might
affect or prevent the communication.
First, is the Physical Barrier and they are described as a
component or physical feature that obstructs communication by acting as
a distraction. A physical barrier is noticeable and can be either man-
made or natural. For examples are workplaces, distance, time,
environment, and technical disturbance. Second, is the Physiological
Barrier and it is a state of the human body and mind presents challenges
to effective communication. The ability to effectively convey or
interpret messages depends critically on both physical and mental health.
Third, is the Cultural Barrier and this is a problem brought by a
misinterpretation or meaning brought on by cultural differences between
the sender and the recipient. Although it commonly leads to tension at
work, it can lead to outright conflict. And at last but not the least, the
Linguistic Barrier is the communication challenges faced by
individuals or organizations who speaks various languages or, in some
situations, dialects.
These are the 4 main barriers of communication that might affect
the discussion of a conversation. That’s all and have a good afternoon
and thank you.
