Hello All,

As you know the Broad Scope Exam is online. The exam can be accessed on the start date/time via
the Broad Scope P&O Practice module - assessment tab and then Broad Scope P&O Practice Exam
20/21.

The exam will be in 2 sections – Prosthetics & Orthotics. There will be three questions in each
section (3 Prosthetic & 3 Orthotic). You are required to answer one question from each section and
select the 3rd question from either section. This means that you should answer 3 questions overall.
Each question will be worth 25 marks. The exam will therefore have a total of 75 marks available.

The exam start date for Broad Scope P&O Practice will be the 18 th of May 2021, the exam will be
open from 10:00am and close at 10:00am on the 21 st May 2021.

You will have a 3-hour window within a 72-hour period. So, once you have clicked on begin/start the
test the exam the clock starts and once the 3 hours is up the exam will close. If you are a student
with a Reasonable Adjustment Plan your extra time will be added to the 3 hours.

the date of the exam.

Also note that the same rules apply as in an in-person exam and that academic misconduct will be
dealt with in the same way. Therefore collusion, copying from, or communicating with, another
examination candidate during an examination or taking unauthorised materials or electronic devises
into an exam is not acceptable. Therefore, whilst completing the exam you can use the laptop or
other device to complete the exam but not as a search engine or source of information. For further
