HYDRAULIC SHUTOFF VALVE CONTROL PANEL

DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION

1. General
A. This Component Maintenance Manual is for the HYDRAULIC SHUTOFF VALVE Control Panel
Assembly, MHIRJ Part Number: CC670−51156−1.
B. The HYDRAULIC SHUTOFF VALVE control panel is installed on the overhead panel in the flight
compartment.

2. Description
Refer to Figure 1.
A. The HYDRAULIC SHUTOFF VALVE control panel has two pushbutton switches located on the front
face of the panel. The pushbutton switches control the hydraulic shutoff valve. The HYDRAULIC
SHUTOFF VALVE control panel includes the items that follow:
– One L−HYD SOV CLOSED pushbutton switch SDS82

– One R−HYD SOV CLOSED pushbutton switch SDS83

– Two electrical connectors for the pushbutton switches (SDS82P1 and SDS83P1)

– A connector light PL65J3

– One electrical connector PL65J1

– A plastic panel

– A mounting plate assembly

– Three posts.

3. Operation
Refer to Figure 1.
A. L−HYD SOV CLOSED pushbutton switch SDS82
B. The L−HYD SOV CLOSED pushbutton switch SDS82 is the left switch on the front face of the
HYDRAULIC SHUTOFF VALVE control panel. This pushbutton switch is used to close the NO.1
hydraulic system supply to the engine driven pump (EDP) installed on the left engine. When the L−
HYD SOV CLOSED pushbutton switch SDS82 is pushed, the left hydraulic shutoff valve closes and
the white CLOSED indication comes on.
C. R−HYD SOV CLOSED pushbutton switch SDS83
D. The R−HYD SOV CLOSED pushbutton switch SDS83 is the right switch on the front face of the
HYDRAULIC SHUTOFF VALVE control panel. This pushbutton switch is used to close the NO. 2
hydraulic system supply to the EDP installed on the right engine. When the R−HYD SOV CLOSED
pushbutton switch SDS83 is pushed, the hydraulic shutoff valve closes and the white CLOSED
indication comes on.
