ACTIVITY 1

The transport catering MacroAsia Catering Services (MACS) is the first fully functional In-
flight Catering facility located inside the premises of the Ninoy Aquino International
Airport (NAIA) in Manila, Philippines. It was incorporated on 18 October 1996. After two
years of continuous planning, preparation and construction, it started its commercial
operations on 9 August 1998, with Air Macau and Singapore Airlines as its first customers.
Its strength as a business entity is founded on the solid partnership of two highly
reputable and progressive companies: MacroAsia Corporation (Philippines), and SATS Ltd (Singapore).

La Cocina de Alicia is a family-run catering and canteen concessionaire food services


provider based in Pasig City. They offer catering and canteen concessionaire services in the
city and other areas. They continue to provide excellent catering and canteen service to its
growing list of satisfied customers. The success of the family-run business is the culmination
of more than 20 years of food industry experience of Alicia, who oversees the food
production.

Starting small, selling snack items to offices and catering to small office functions. Ma. Lina
Catering Services expanded to home events like birthdays, house blessings, and weddings, to
ever larger corporate events. Ma. Lina Catering Services became an officially registered
single proprietor business in 1990. Starting with just two employees doing one or two cater
functions in a month, the company now has over 150 employees and can currently handle 30
concurrent cater functions in a day.

Alba Catering is a combined effort of spouses Ramon and Jeanette Alba. Known for their quality
personalized services, inexpensive yet sumptuous dishes and elegant arrangements (even for low
budget) innovation is still top of their priorities.

Alfonso’s is to become the choice food provider in the country by creating beautiful moments in
those special days that weave together food, ambiance, and merriment. We also aim to push
our team to innovate and excel in food preparation, innovation, and creation while fostering a
creative and healthy working environment that inspires.
