Plot (RIZAL SA DAPITAN)

Jose Rizal was exiled in Dapitan in the province of Zamboanga in 1892. Rizal was met by father
Obac and said to Rizal to refuse heretic statements. When Rizal is in Dapitan, he focuses on the
development of the town. In the province of Dapitan, Zamboanga, Rizal take action to control the
spreading of mosquitoes that can cause ill, which is Malaria.

Rizal continued to improve the province by having education or teaching how to write, read and
sculpturing and painting. Rizal is also an ophthalmologist. Teodora Alonzo includes Rizal’s patient also
Maria and Narcissa is there. The American patient named George visited Rizal for possible treatment but
the condition was beyond Rizal’s help. He met the step daughter of George who is Josephine Bracken
and fell in love with her. Josephine left his step father to get engaged to Rizal but they wouldn’t be
marrying in Catholic Church because of the friars opposition to Rizal’s writing about political. But, before
they are going to marry, there is a child who born named Francisco.

The film ends when Rizal leaving the town of Dapitan and the people is hoping that Rizal will be back.
Rizal intent to work in Cuba, and the film says about his execution, the birth of the Philippine Revolution.
