Microscope is an hument that is used to magnity small objects. Some

Microsoft can even be used to observe an object at the cel arewing
scents to see the shape of a cell, its nucleus, mitochondria, and other
organelles.

ERLANMAYER FLASK (500 mL)

Used for making solutions or for holding, containing, collecting, or

sometimes volumetrically measuring chemicals, samples, solutions.
etc. for chemical reactions or other processes such as mixing, heating.
cooling, dissolving, precipitation, boiling (as in distillation), or analysis.

GRADUATED CYLINDER (100 mL)

Graduated cylinder is used for measuring volumes (amounts) of liquids.

GRADUATED CYLINDER (50 mL)

Graduated cylinder is used for measuring volumes (amounts) of liquids.

GRADUATED CYLINDER (25 mL)

Graduated cylinder is used for measuring volumes (amounts) of liquids.

EVAPORATTING DISH

Evaporating dish is a tool used in labs to separate liquids and solids

from a solution by allowing the water to evaporate off into the air.

STIRRING ROD

A glass stirring rod is used to stir or mix solutions. One of their main
uses is to “escratch†the side of glassware (such as an Eren-
meyer Flask) to start the crystallization process in many experiments.

GLASS FUNNEL

A separatory funnel, separation funnel, separating funnel, qolloquially

funnel, is a laboratory glassware used in liquid-to-liquid abstraction to
dispersed components of liquid mixture into 2 immiscible solvent of
different thicknesses such as Oil and Water.

MORTAR PASTLE

Mortar is a material used in masonry construction to fill the gaps

between the bricks and blocks and pestle is a tool used to crush, mash
or grind materials in a mortar.

SAFETY GOGGLES

Are the primary protectors intended to shield the eyes against liquid or
chemical splash, irritating mists, vapors, and fumes.

TEST TUBE BRUSH

A test tube brush or spout brush is a brush used for cleaning test tubes
and narrow mouth laboratory glassware, such as graduated cylinders,
burettes, and Erlenmeyer flasks.

VIALS

A vial is a small container usually made of glass or plastic. It may be

shaped like a tube or bottle and have a flat bottom, unlike common
blood collection tubes.
ALCHOL BURNER

Also known as a spirit lamp or alcohol stove, is a useful laboratory

apparatus. It looks like a small jar with a tank for fuel and comes with a
lid which has a tiny hole to hold a single wick.

PETRI DISH

Petri dish is a shallow transparent glass or plastic cylindrical lidded

dish, used to contain a thin layer of agar on which to grow bacteria and
fungi. Millions of Petri dishes are used in microbiology labs every year.

GLASS SLIDE
A microscope slide is a thin flat piece of glass, typically 75 by 28 mm (3 by 1
inches) and about 1 mm thick, used to hold objects for examination under a
microscope. Typically, the object is mounted (secured) on the slide, and then
both are inserted together in the microscope for viewing.

VOLUMETRIC FLASK

A volumetric flask (measuring flask or graduated flask) is a piece of

laboratory apparatus, a type of laboratory flask, calibrated to contain a
precise volume at a certain temperature. Volumetric flasks are used for
precise dilutions and preparation of standard solutions.

SPATULAS

Spatulas are most often used for scraping food from the sides of pots,
stirring ingredients in curved bowls.

WIRE GAUZE

Wire gauze is an important piece of supporting equipment in a

laboratory as glassware cannot be heated directly with the flame of a
Bunsen burner and requires the use of a wire gauze to diffuse the heat,
helping to protect the glassware.
LENS SET

A versatile and essential tool in many areas of scientific research,

allowing researchers to observe and manipulate light and other types
of radiation in a variety of ways.

pH METER

pH meter is an instrument used to measure hydrogen ion activity in

solutions in other words, this instrument measures acidity/alkalinity

TEST TUBE

Test tube is one of the most commonly used pieces of laboratory ware.
Test tubes are the perfect shape and size to hold small amounts of
substances, usually liquid, which are then manipulated in some way
such as being placed over the flame of a Bunsen burner.

DISSECTING KIT

Dissecting kits or dissection kits are used to dissect frogs, fetal pigs,
and many other preserved animals. Dissecting kits contains all neces-
sary tools/instruments to perform complete dissection.

TRIPOD

Used for both motion and still photography to prevent camera

movement and provide stability.

DISECTING PAN
Dissecting pans or trays are one of the most essential equipment required at
a biology laboratory. While analyzing the internal structure of an organism or
a specimen, a dissecting pan is used to hold the sample and allows the
scientist to study the characteristics of the sample utter with clarity.
ALCOHOL LAMP

Alcohol lamp is used for heating, sterilization, and combustion in a

laboratory. The alcohol lamp uses ethyl alcohol or spirit as a fuel.

SYRINGE

A syringe is the tube with a plunger that usually connects to a needle.

It is used to inject or take out fluid. A syringe holds the vaccine or
medicine when you get a shot.

LITMUS PAPER

The main use of litmus is to test whether a solution is acidic or basic,

as blue litmus paper turns red under acidic conditions, and red litmus
paper turns blue under basic or alkaline conditions, with the color
change occurring over the pH range 4.54€ 8.3 at 25 A°C (77 A°F).
Neutral litmus paper is purple.

CRUCIBLE & COVER

A lab crucible is a type of laboratory glassware used to burn, melt, or

mix solid chemical compounds over a burner it can hold all kinds of
substances, materials, and fluids. It is also used in quantitative
gravimetric chemical analysis. Neutral litmus paper is purple.

THERMOMETER

A laboratory thermometer is used to measure the boiling point and

freezing point during science experiments. It is also used to measure
the temperature of substances.

TEST TUBE HOLDER

A test tube holder is used to hold test tubes. It is used for holding a test
tube in place when the tube is hot or should not be touched. For
example, a test tube holder can be used to hold a test tube while it is
being heated.
