What came first the chicken or the egg.

‘’ A hen is only an egg’s way of making another egg’’ - a Quote by Samuel

Butler. Today I'm talking about the evolution of chickens to find out the truth
about what really came first, the chicken or the egg.

The evolution of chickens and their ancestors has been molded by a

variation of factors including the development of feathers, bone structure,
and the development of chicken eggs that developed a hard shell.
Chickens have impressive cognitive skills that suggest these birds are far
more smart and complex than we see them to be. Did you know that
chickens evolved from dinos? Despite the millions of years that separate
dinosaurs and modern day chickens, chickens evolved from the T Rex.

Chickens are closely related to dinosaurs. In 2003 a team of scientists

made the discoverie that Chickens are the closest living relatives of the
Tyrannosaurs. Rex. due to the fact that they obtained bits of protein from
connective tissue in T Rex fossils that shows a relationship with two
birds, chickens and ostriches. There are many similarities between dinos
and chickens, Largely to do with bone structure. It appears that many of the
dinosaurs had feathers not for flight, but adapted scales to assist in heat
regulations and to assist in courtship display as in modern birds such as
the domesticated chicken.Chickens have the most similar overall
chromosome patterns to its avian dinosaur ancestors, and dinosaurs do
they eggs.90/66 million years ago the T rex first walked the earth then after
a lot of evolution came the domesticated chicken first appeared ruffley 8000
years ago. By studying the connections between chickens and their
prehistoric ancestors, we can gain a greater appreciation for the
remarkable diversity of our planet.

The egg came first, laid by a bird that was not quite a chicken. The chicken
was laid by a prehistoric bird that was not quite a chicken. This bird may
have gradually evolved overtime with small genetic mutations and
adaptations leading to the development of the modern chicken.
So we know chickens evolved from dinosaurs at the start of the timeline
90/66 million years ago.Charles Darwin proposed that chickens descended
from the Red Jungle fowl 7000 years ago in Southeast Asia and oceana, a
colorful tropical bird in the pheasant family. Red jungle fowl are wild
chicken. Compared to a chicken nowadays, the red Jungle fowl is 43 to 80
centimeters in length smaller. The egg came first, because if there had
been no egg, there would have been no chicken.

Chickens have been shown to possess a variety of cognitive abilities. Such

as an incredible memory, chickens can recognise up to 100 faces. These
animals have a wide range of unique, fascinating characteristics, including
complex social hierarchies / pecking order, the stronger, bigger and more
aggressive chickens bully their way to the top of the group by pecking away
others into submission with their pointy beaks.Fun facts chickens perceive
time intervals and can anticipate future events. Chickens' brains evolve as
they grow up just like u and me. Chickens are considered just as smart as
dogs Because they are Capable of sophisticated thought and
communication.

To conclude today I have talked about chicken’s relations and similarities

with dinosaurs. Also talked about the red Jungle fowl and how, where and
when it evolved into the modern day domesticated chicken. And my last
point was on chickens cognitive abilities and how their minds evolve. After
exploring all these facts we can say that the egg came first, and to end my
speech here's a joke.

What movies do hens like? Chick flicks.
