from group 2 and today we are going to share about one of the
countries in the world where English is widely spoken.

English is a widely used language and is the official language in a number of countriea such
as the United States of America, United Kingdom, and Singapore.

The United States is considered as the country which has the most English speakers in the
world. The country is located in the northern hemisphere, between the Atlantic and Pacific
oceans. It covers an area of 9,826,630 square kilometers and it is the third largest country in
the world.
Washington D.C, the capital of the United States, is also a famous city. It is located on the
east coast of the United States. As the capital, it houses the president’s White House, along
with fashion brands, commercial, and financial centers. Washington D.C.’s cuisine is
incredibly diverse because of its multi cultural population.
Their street food culture is quite developed and there are around 4000 food carts in the city
alone. Lemon cake is one of the must-try food. It is a dense, flavorful and very popular cake
that goes perfectly with tea or coffee. The cake is usually topped with a glaze, syrup or light
icing. They also have Burrito which is loved by many people. It is actually a kind of Mexican
food made by rolling meat, beans, and cheese inside a toasted tortilla.

Washington also has famous tourist attractions such as the White House, the Capitol,
museums and galleries. For people who love travelling, Washington D.C is a must-go
destination.
