SAFETY STANDARDS FOR SITE WORK

1.Work outfits
Contents Standards
 As a general rules, work in the following outfits.
① All workers wear a helmet within durable period, for
protection against falling or flying objects, for protection
against fall accidents.
Electrical workers wear a helmet of electricity-resistance.
② Wear clothes of long sleeves with adjustable cuffs. (Left

③ Use safety shoes or safety boots (sneakers type is
allowable).
With supervisor's permission, shoes except the above
are allowable in building or special works.

 Wear a safety belt for working at the places more than


1.5 meters of height (depth).

 Prepare a handrail and a main rope to hang the hook of


safety belt.

 Follow the rules below for the use of the safety belt.
① Hang the hook of safety belt to a position that is higher

2. Temporary equipment such as ladder, step ladder

 Follow the rules below for the use of
ladder.

① Stick out the upper part of ladder 60

3.Opening

5. Slinging work
Contents Standards
 Do not hang lengthwise.
 If absolutely necessary, follow the
rules below:

① Do not hang with only single wire.

② Put the bottom edge in a bag such as


sack and wire bag, or fix wires with a
