Question No. 1
What is:
a. Circular motion and rotational motion? Elaborate also based on your understanding.
b. Angular displacement and velocity? Elaborate also based on your understanding.
c. What are the different types of friction? Elaborate and Explain.

Answer:
In physics, circular motion is a movement of an object along with a circumstance in the circle. It is also a distance between the
center of mass and the axis of rotation. An example of a circular motion is Earth revolving around the Sun. One must experience daylight
or the sun at some time during the day. And the round motion of ethe earth around the Sun is to blame for this. In actuality, every planet
in our solar system, including Earth, is programmed to orbit the sun in a fixed orbit. Rotational Motion is a motion in which the object
rotates around an axis in rotational motion. Also, the movement is based on the rotation of the body around the center of the mass. An
example of rotational motion is considering the motion of a wheel as an illustration. A wheel cannot be thought of as a single particle
since it is composed of various moving pieces that have various velocities and accelerations.

Angular displacement is a change in the angle of the body with resperespectts initial angular positions.
measuresplainrotationalar displacement asthisdistancee a body moves from its initial position. Angular displacement is a vecincludedity
that has botvelocityude and direction. While the Angular Velocity is a vector that measure the rotaional rate. The length of time it takes
for anything to rotate through a specific angular displacement is including by its angular velocuty. The angular velocity provides
information on the rate of rotation of an object.

Friction is a force that prevents two solid objects from rollig or slidinv over one another. Although frictional forces, such as traction
required to walk without slipping, may be advantageous, they can provide a significant amount of resistance to motion. There are
different types of friction. The first one is Static Friction it is the frictional force that exists between surfaces while they are at rest in
relation to one another. When a tiny amount of force is applied, the static force’s magnitude is identical in the other direction. At some
point, the force reaches its maximum static friction. The table lamp lying on the table is an illustration of static friction. The second one is
sliding friction. The resistance that is formed between any two items when they are sliding against one another. Two cards sliding one
another is an example of sliding friction. The third type of friction is known as the weakest type of friction, rolling friction is described as
the force that opposed a ball’s or wheel's motion. The rolling of a log on the ground is an example of rolling friction. The last type is the
friction that develops between fluid layers as they move about one another known as fluid friction. The flow of ink in pens serves as an
illustration of fluid friction.
Question No. 2
What is the importance of circular motion and rotational motion, angular displacement, and velocity in engineering applications?

The importance of circular motion and rotational motion, angular displacement, and velocity in engineering applications is that all of this can be

used in everyday life or work in Field Engineering. The rotational motion in engineering can be defined as the motion of an object around a circular
path, in a fixed orbit. The dynamics for rotational motion are completely analogous to linear or translational dynamics. Angular displacement has big
application in mechanical engineering like It is the rate of change of angular displacement of a body. It is usually expressed in revolutions per
minute (r.p.m.) or radians per second (rad/s).

Question No. 3
What is the importance of friction in engineering applications?

Friction has a big role in the life or work of every engineer. The importance of friction in engineering applications is that the level of
friction in engineering symbolizes the energy wasted, usually as heat, and is thus minimized. Design, materials choice, coating or surface
treatments, as well as the usage of lubricating liquids or solids, could be part of the applications of friction in engineering treatment
