MODULE 9
GAUGE: B
Yes, I agree. Because we are not getting any younger to limit our experience and make any
inevitable change, it is best if we do it step by step. Your passion understands you, do something
good not because you want to impress others, but you are a disciplined and well-mannered
person, cherish your happy days, learn from your lonely and past mistakes, and let it be the way
for you to grow. Being open to trying new things is not bad if you sometimes fail. Being open to
learning, exploring, and experiencing more life, is part of growing. Creating good memories with
the people around you is a process of growth you can cherish, for memories will not fade
although people change. Cherish every moment and take every possibility, as if it is the last one.
Do your very best in everything you do. Be an inspiration to others, as they are to you, share
what you have, help others reach their dreams. Passionately share your talent and do not hide
because of criticism; you only live once, live it to the fullest and be the captain of your own life.
GAUGE C:
POSITION PAPER
Face to Face learning is more accessible and convenient for the learners taking up
medical courses, and we would get to ask questions freely and have our friends by our side.
However, as of now, face-to-face learning is not safe because of the current pandemic. We were
also given minor work, unlike today's online/modular learning.
Modular/ Online class is more complex to some students who do not have an internet
connection and mobile device that you can use for online learning that is intended for learning,
others also have a hard time approaching the teachers, and the task and instructions given are not
always straightforward and needs further explanations. Currently, we are given a lot more
activities to be done per week, unlike last year's face-to-face learning. I am having a hard time in
a lot of the activities.

Target Population
Your mask helps protect those around you. COVID-19 spreads mainly from person to person
through respiratory droplets. Respiratory droplets travel into the air when you cough, sneeze,
talk, shout or sing. These droplets can then land in the mouths or noses of people near you, or
they may breathe these droplets in.
Masks are a simple barrier to help prevent your respiratory droplets from reaching others.
Studies show that masks reduce the spray of droplets when worn over the nose and
mouth. You should wear a mask, even if you do not feel sick. This is because several studies
have found that people with COVID-19 who never develop symptoms (asymptomatic) and
those who are not yet showing symptoms (pre-symptomatic) can still spread the virus to
other people. Wearing a mask helps protect those around you if you are infected but not
showing symptoms.
It is imperative to wear a mask when you are indoors with people you do not live with and
when you are unable to stay at least 6 feet apart since COVID-19 spreads mainly among
people in close contact with one another.
A cloth mask offers some protection to you too. How well it protects you from breathing in
the virus depends on the fabrics used and how your mask is made (such as the type of fabric,
the number of layers of fabric, and how well the mask fits). CDC is currently studying these
factors.
Types of masks
Some masks work better than others to help slow the spread of the virus that causes COVID-
19. Note: N95 respirators approved by CDC’s National Institute for Occupational Safety and
Health (NIOSH) should be prioritized for healthcare personnel.
