PROCEDURES:
1. Fill a pot with 1 liter of cold water. Depending on the amount of macaroni you are using, you may
need water. For this level of water, you’ll need 200 grams of macaroni.
2. Put 5 grams of salt and 15ml of oil in the water. You can always adjust the amount to suit your taste
too.
3. Cover the pot and bring it to the boil. The boiling times may vary, so check back on the pot regularly.
As it may take up to 10 minutes, give or take.
4. Remove the lid. Put the 200 grams of uncooked macaroni in the pot.
5. Once you’ve added the macaroni, don’t just leave the pot there. Keep stirring the macaroni
periodically, perhaps every minute or so. By doing this, it will allow the pasta to cook evenly. If you don’t,
the pasta may have an inconsistent texture.
6. After 10 minutes when it’s fully cooked, remove the pot from the burner, turn the burner off, and then
use a strainer to separate the macaroni from the water.
7. Rinse it with cold water. This will prevent the macaroni from absorbing the sauce. This can also help
stop the pasta from cooking. If you want that perfect al dente pasta, then rinsing it with cold water is a
must.
8. After you drain pour some oil. Stir well and make sure the macaroni is seasoned evenly.
9. Cover it in cling wrap.
