Dr. Rakesh Kumar was conferred with Honorary
Doctorate by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar
Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath during a
convocation ceremony of Teerthankar Mahaveer
University, held on 17th March 2023 at
Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh.

several banks have opened as many as 30 special
vostro accounts as of date to facilitate overseas
trade in the Rupee. Some 18 countries have
already opened special vostro accounts with
Indian banks.
Mr. Ahuja has exposure to various assignments
in the Bank, majorly in credit (finance) related
areas starting from Commercial Network, Credit
Analyst, Relationship Manager (Advances) and
AGM of two core SME Intensive branches. He
was also on deputation to SBI Capital Markets
for 5 years (2004 till 2009) where he had
exposure on PPP projects, Debt syndication /
appraisal, Private equities etc. He joined State
Bank Academy (erstwhile SBICRM) in July 2018
as Faculty (Credit).
At SBI since 2002, Neeshu Agarwal has worked
in various assignments in Domestic Branches and
has also undertaken overseas assignment at
Washington DC branch under SBI California.
Presently is AGM & Faculty at State Bank
Academy, Gurgaon which is one of the apex
training institutes of SBI in credit & IB field.

In his presentation, the speaker also touched

upon Exporters' Score Card that provides
objectivity and facilitates prudent underwriting
decision under Short term covers for exporters
who approach ECGC for the first time.
Mr. Srivastava enumerated and explained risks
covered by ECGC for exporters that are : Default
Insolvency, Repudiation, Default & Insolvency of
LC opening bank, War, Civil war, etc., Transfer
delay, Expropriation OIl, Import Restrictions,
Diversion of Voyage, Risks covered by ECGC for
Banks, Insolvency of Exporter and Default of
Exporter. Risks not covered by ECGC are Causes
inherent in the nature of goods; and Failure or
inability of buyer to obtain any authority
necessary under the regulations of the buyer's
country in force at the date of shipment to
import the goods.

He explained about the Floating limit (FL):

Governed by the concept of multiple SBEs under
single AL; Liability is limited to ALL subject to
individual buyer limit; Where limit requirement
is beyond 25% of the ALL; Premium collected is
on 70% of the total limit; Premium to be worked
out on the exposure limit utilization from high-
risk category country to the least-risk country.

Our business is based in Moradabad. We are wholesalers and exporters
dealing in home décor and ornamental decorations. Our unique designs
and fresh new products are our main USP. This is a family business and has
been running for 20-25 years and I have been associated with the business
for 8 years now. We source all raw materials like wood, iron, steel, marble,
brass and aluminum from different parts of India. Our table top decor is
our most selling product line. We only use quality mango wood and acacia
wood as raw materials, which attracts buyers mainly from USA, Europe
and the Middle East. We have received an overwhelming response at the
fair this time and look forward to further participation in the future.
Raw material among our USP

We operate our business out of Gandhinagar, Delhi. Ours is a family business
which was started by my father in 1986. We specialise in glass-beaded
jewellery products which we mainly export to markets in Japan and USA.
We get our raw materials custom made which makes for our USP. We have
very recently started retail sales through e -commerce channels like Flipkart
and Amazon.
Buyers have loved our stand and our
furniture

I started the company back in 2013. We specialise
in contemporary furniture. Our dining sets and
living room sets are absolutely adored by our
customers. At this fair, buyers have been loving

our stand and loving the furniture, we have been getting great reactions.
We export to more than 20 countries, with our main markets being in -
France, Germany and the United Kingdom. The IHGF has really helped us
grow over the years and is one of the best platforms for exporters in India.
IHGF plays a huge role for market reach

We specialise in bead home décor items, such as place mats, cushions, and
Christmas décor items. Our best-selling items are the Christmas decorations.
Our company began in 2008 with handicrafts - which had a slow start, but
progressively flourished through the fairs. The IHGF has played a huge role
in our growth by providing us the platform to exhibit our products and
helped us reach a vast customer base. Even though, there were fewer
buyers for our products this time compared to the last fair, our sales are still
growing constantly. We presently export our items to most regions of the
world including USA, Europe, and Asia.

We originally started the company back in 2015 with interior designing,
then gradually moved into the textile business 6-7 years ago. We specialise
in decorative cushions, table runners and Christmas textiles. Our decorative
cushions sell the most. Through the EPCH, we learnt and started our journey
and moved from the domestic market to exporting. We export to the
Unites States and Europe. Even though. The IHGF has been a great platform
to showcase our company's strength.

started the company back in 2005, from our family business of textiles -

extremely popular among the buyers. We established the company back in
2001, with the thought of doing something different, in the line of idea

Jodhpur and now have 240+. The IHGF has been the best platform in India
for exporters like us.

that is in sync with global trends. The IHGF has been a good platform for us
and helped us grow.

Our parent company started out 130 years ago, I am in the fifth generation.
We have expertise in home decoration. We try to get new products at every
fair and keep up with latest designs. In a few months we plan to check in
with our designers to start working for the next seasons and fairs. We get
materials from Mumbai and Hyderabad.

My grandfather started this company in 1970, and now I am in the third
generation. I take pride in how we have come up to this level. We have
been IHGF Delhi Fair exhibitors since 2013. This time, we are getting a
good amount of buyers, first three days we witnessed a good rush. Some
of our old customers returned, and we received 8 to 10 new customers. In
the future we are hoping for the best, and we look forward to introduce
new lamps and lighting. Our target countries are mostly Middle East and
European countries like Spain, Belgium, Germany. As old participants of
the fair, we are hoping to get more space in the future.
Adding to our sustainability quotient with each fair

I started this business and have nurtured it over 37 years. We specialise in
wood and metal products. And since the last 2 years we have added recycled
raw materials like jute and recycled sarees to add to our sustainability
quotient. Next time we hope to add Christmas items and more sustainable
products. So far we have experienced a good fair. Our main markets of
export are US, UK, European Countries, Australia.

We specialise in home decorations and this is a good platform for us. Our
products get conceptualised and manufactured in Madhya Pradesh. My
wife, Nidhi Sharma, is the designer and I do the job of the manufacturer.
Our business is pretty recent, we have been doing this since past 4-5 years
only. We target the European markets. Next time we plan to bring in new
products in designs like mosaic, fabric surface effects, etc. and we hope to
get more buyers as well.
