3.3 Problem Analysis

Cheers biggest challenge is to change the consumer behavior. People don’t have easy
access to the internet all the time (or that it is too expensive for normal person).
Another problem of this business is traffic jam conditions, which largely affect the
delivery time.
Because cheers deal in liquor, they have certain barriers and restrictions set up by the
government; they can’t sell their product to minors. Lack of people’s trust in ordering
products online was a major challenge for cheers. Another major problem cheers
faces
Operating in Kathmandu is the absence of home addresses. To find out the exact
location of the customers is the major problem of cheers. Cheers is not allowed to sell
product beyond the specified hours.

7
3.4 Solutions

 If the customers place orders through calls, the customers are asked to describe their location
using the nearest recognizable landmark. The delivery personnel will then pin the location on a
map, which is also used for further reference in case an order is placed from that same location.
 People don’t have easy access to the internet all the time. So, customers can also place their
orders by calling them rather than going to their website.
 They have certain barriers and restrictions set up by the government, they are not allowed to sell
their products minors (18 or younger). To ensure that they do not violate this rule, all their
customers are requested to state their date of birth when placing an order.

 The company’s representatives come to your doorstep with portable point-of-sale machines and
then you can use your debit or credit card to make the payment.
