INTI RAYMI - MACHUPICCHU CAMPAIGN

June 23rd - Reception

Pick up from the airport and transfer to Usgar hotel.

Previous coordination of pick up time, inform flight number and airline (It is recommended to arrive
before noon to walk around the city in the afternoon or take the City Tour). You can add the City
Tour at 13:00 Hrs. for the cost of $10.

June 24 - Inti Raymi

The Inti Raymi is a festival that was celebrated during the Inca civilization, it was a religious
ceremony held in honor of the "God Inti" that is why it is known as the Feast of the Sun. This
celebration begins every winter solstice, that is, every June 24 and lasted 15 days in which different
activities were performed, including rites, dances, sacrifices and others.

The itinerary begins at 09:00 Hrs. Pick up from the hotel to go to Regocijo square, the guide will
give a short explanation and then take you to the main square where you will see an introduction of
the Inti Raymi.

Then, together with the ceremony, you will be transferred to the green tribunes of Sacsayhuaman
and delivery of the Box Lunch.
17:00 Hrs. After the great ceremony, transfer to the hotel.

Day June 25 - Machu Picchu

04:30 Hrs. Pick up from Hotel Usgar to go to Ollantaytambo train station to board the 07:45 Hrs.
train.

When you arrive to Aguas Calientes town, the guide will contact you to go to the bus station and
take the bus to go up to Machupicchu citadel (30 minutes trip).

10:00 Hrs. Entrance to the citadel of Machupicchu and guided tour for three hours, then we will
take the bus to go down to the town of Aguas Calientes.

16:22 Hrs. Departure by train to Ollantaytambo station, pick up the tourist bus and transfer to the
city of Cusco.
