OBJECTIVE(S):

MODE: INDIVIDUAL

DURATION 5 MINUTES

1. Teacher plays a You tube video on a short story.


2. Teacher instruct pupils to observe the You tube video.
3. Teacher ask the students to guess what tense been used in the short story.

PRE –LESSON

MODE: PAIR

4. Teacher shows the dialogue script in the power point slides. Students work in pairs to complete
the task.
5. While students refer to the script on the power point slides, they need to find the sentences
that are spoken by the characters in the script which express what is happening at the moment.
Example:
• I go to the museum every year
6. Students are asked to write down the verbs in the sentences. They discuss the answers among
their partners.

LESSON DEVELPOMENT

MODE: GROUP

7. Teacher divide the class into two groups, group A and group B. Tell the students they have to
read story from the teacher going to share in the classroom.
8. After watching the story the students write down the present tense found in the short story. The
students work in their group to write down the tense used in the story.
9. Next teacher ask the students to come up with their own short story using the present tense.
They present their story in the power point slides. (Slide presentation: CANVA)
