this city in order to earn every day. However, due to Covid-19 pandemic, the
government imposed quarantine which forced some businesses to lay off other
employees, including Gerald. On the other hand, Marichris is an online seller,
she’s selling variety of products online.

The family was living in Lorenzo Heights, Barangay Putik. Their house
was made of light materials. Accordingly, they were living closed to Marichris’s
relatives.

Similarly, if one of the family members becomes ill, they visit a public hospital for
treatment.
B.2. Economic Condition

The economic living of the family is derived from being an entrepreneur

of Marichris. As per phone call interview, Marichris is selling variety of stuffs
online and earns around 100 to 200 pesos in a day, depending on someone’s
order/s. According to her, she needs to earn in order to have an extra income.
Since the extra income of Gerald from being a tattoo artist is not enough
because, he has no regular client and the income is too small to support family’s
daily needs.

The family, on the other hand, is a DSWD Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino

Program (4ps) beneficiary. Every quarter, the family receives Php 2,000.00 for
health, education, and basic needs. Janelle, their oldest daughter, is the
