About the Course
In association with MoRTH and IRC, IIT Roorkee is organizing the 3rd 15-days Certification Course for
Road Safety Auditors as per the latest course content and guidelines prepared by MoRTH and IRC for
fulfilling eligibility requirements of Road Safety Auditors.
This course will be an excellent opportunity for Engineers, Consultants, Practitioners, Researchers, etc.,
to enhance knowledge, skills, and certify themselves in the domain of Road Safety Engineering and
Auditing. Examination/ evaluation will be conducted for the issuance of accreditation from IRC. The 15
days course will be conducted physically at IIT Roorkee. Other information regarding the course, such
as program schedule, travel details, will be informed later to the registered candidates. The number of
participants will be limited to 25 only.
Participation Fee
The participation fee for the course will be Rs. 82,500 (Rs. 75,000 Course Fee + Rs. 7,500 IRC License
fee) + 18% GST (Total Rs. 97,350). The fee is inclusive of food (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and tea breaks)
arrangements during the course duration (i.e., 15-days) as well as local travel for the site visits. Guesthouse
accommodation inside the IIT Roorkee campus can be provided on an availability basis. The AC room
charges start at 1000 Rs+GST, payable directly at the guest house by the participants.
Registration
The final selection of candidates for the Certification Course will be made in two steps. Initially, interested
people need to fill out the registration form (https://civil.iitr.ac.in/road-safety-course/Registration) to
show their interest in the course. The deadline for registration is 23rd October 2021. The shortlisted
candidates will be notified latest by 25th October 2021 to make the payment latest by 8th November 2021.
