Curtiss Wright – LMT is seeking NDE Trainee candidates for our upcoming 2023 spring nuclear
outage season.

Our company background is primarily providing in-service inspection services to the nuclear
industry in the United States, with some contracts in the UK, Brazil, Spain, South Africa. We offer
MT, PT, VT, UT, Visual Weld and PAUT inspection services to our customers. We are based out of
Hutchinson, MN with 80% of our full-time employees being graduates of community college NDE
programs.

Job Description: Assisting qualified Level II technicians in performing UT thickness readings for FAC
(Flow Accelerated Corrosion).

• Working conditions are typical industrial work environment.

o Potentially loud areas, climbing ladders, working from scaffolding, safety harness.
• Wage - $27/hr.
• Per diem – based from CONUS rate in location of project.
• Mobilization – 8 hours ST and one day per diem for travel in and travel out from project,
plus a flat $900.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have completed 1st year UT classroom/lab training.

o Not required but helpful.
• Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol test.
• Must have a current driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass a nuclear background check.
o You will be applying for unescorted access at a nuclear facility.
o Any alcohol related offenses will require documentation of assessment and any
required classes associated with the offense.
