Aurora M. Rosselli
Aurora M. Rosselli (born November 9, 1974) is an Italian-American[12] artist, photographer, influencer,
and content creator.[10] She has worked with numerous celebrities including, Hugh Hefner, Kat Von D,
The Kardashians, Patrick Starr, Manny MUA, Drew Barrymore, Charlize Theron, and Kandee Johnson.
Rosselli operates under the brand name, Eclisse Creazioni Art & Photography.[1][2] Rosselli credits Hugh
Hefner and her best friend Stefano Gabbana founder of the Italian fashion brand Dolce & Gabbana as
her mentors.[9]

Early Life and Education

Born and raised in Catania, Rosselli moved to the US in 2003.[11] She completed a diploma from Liceo
Artistico, after which she enrolled at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Catania, where she earned a Laurea in
Decorazion and Laurea in Beni Culturali.[3][4] She holds a Ph.D. in Archeology specialized in Cultural
Assets.[15]

“I was constantly interested in photography since I was a little kid. I completely disdained to be before
the camera yet, at the same time, took my Mom’s Polaroid and took photos of my gifted dolls or all that I
could discover around the house. When I got into the Accademia of Belle Arti and began considering
photography, my passion dominated, and I wound up taking an external class offered by the EU to have a
more top to bottom comprehension and totally focus around the specialty,” Roselli says.[14]

Career
In 2007, Rosselli was signed by Getty, followed by Saatchi & Saatchi in 2014, and Cosmopolitan as a
Social Patrol Member, in 2017. She is the 2015 Artist of the Year.[9]

Rosselli is also part of the National Charity League, a non-profit multi-generational philanthropic
organization designed to encourage community service and volunteering opportunities for mothers and
their daughters in grades 7-12.[5]

When asked about Eclisse Creazioni Art & Photography, she responded, “It all started with my art; when I
moved to the US, I began painting again. My work went noticed on social media, and I was invited to
exhibit in a few Art shows in Hollywood, where I was introduced to people that I considered my mentors,
one of those was Hugh Hefner, head and founder of PlayBoy. I learned so much from him, and he pushed
me again into photography, that’s when Eclisse Creazioni Art & Photography was born. I can say I would
not be here today if it weren’t for him; I still miss him dearly.”[6]

Rosselli is currently working on a new series of B&W pictures for a new touring exhibit, “Acherontia” that
will launch around Spring 2021 in Italy and few dates Europe.[8]
Rosselli received the Premio Donna Siciliana 2020 Award, an award that is only given to notable Sicilian
Women in the world.

Rosselli says, “My life story is just an inspiration for all the people I’ve met along the way. I’ve done and
accomplished so much, made friendships with TV personalities and achieve in a short time success all
while rebuilding my life here in the US. I can definitely say my life is about what you are making of it and
you can overcome anything accomplishing all you set your mind to.”[13]
