Tools and Supplies

Here is a cheat sheet of the tools we recommend. We’ve broken down the list into Essential Tools, Help-
ful Tools, Household Items, and Active Pickups Extra Tools.
If you are doing a passive to active swap you may need a few extra tools. Some guitars come with smaller
diameter pots which will require you to widen the hole to fit the new pots. To find out if you need to take
this extra step please watch the passive to active video lesson called “How to use a reamer”.
Most tools are inexpensive and can be used beyond guitar electronics. Click the links below to order the
