4pics1word Contest Mechanics and Guidelines

1.) Every Grade 9 section of DSPMNHS shall have one (1) representative to compete in
4pics1word contest.
2.) Each representative shall provide one (1) eraser and 1/8 illustration board which will be
utilized during the competition.
3.) The contest proper will be held on February 15, 2023 (Wednesday), 9:00 a.m., inside the
school library.
4.) The competition is composed of three (3) rounds on which the point system and time
allotment for each round are presented below:

Novice 1 minute 7 2
Whiz 2 minutes 5 3
Pro 3 minutes 3 5
(Note: In case of tie, another three (3) items will be given on which point system and time
allotment will be based on pro round.)
5.) For each round, the contestants may start writing their answers on the illustration board the
moment the picture is shown. Upon the facilitator’s cue, contestants are required to raise their
board to show their answers. Note: Wrong spelling would not be recognized.
6.) The following rules are to observed during the event:
a.) wearing of complete uniform
b.) strictly no cellphone or any form of electronic gadgets/devices
c.) chatting or any form of conversation between participants are prohibited
d.) spectators are not allowed inside the premises

7.) Winners will be declared based on the accumulated points after three (3) rounds. There
shall be five (5) winners with the following prizes:
1st- P200 cash and certificate
2nd- P150 cash and certificate
3rd- P100 cash and certificate
4th- Certificate
5th- Certificate
