CBSE Circular for Grade X Supplementary Examination

Dear Parent

Greetings!

This is to inform you that as per the circular vide "CBSE/COORD/REGULAR/SUPPL/2023 dated
29/05/2023", the students who had appeared in CBSE Board 2022-23 Grade X may apply
for supplementary examination to improve their performance in maximum 02 subjects.

The Eligibility criteria mentioned by CBSE Board is as follows:

1. Regular students who appeared in Board's Examination 2023 declared as COMPARTMENT are eligible
to apply in one or two subjects which are placed in the compartment.

2. Regular students who appeared in Board's Examination 2023 declared as PASS due to replacement of
subject(s) can appear in that subject(s) under the improvement of Performance category only in the
subjects whose examination will be conducted, subject to the condition of a valid combination of
subjects as per the date sheet.

3. Regular students who appeared in Board's Examination 2023 declared as PASS can appear in up to
two subjects under the improvement of Performance category only in the subjects whose examination
will be conducted, subject to the condition of a valid combination of subjects as per the date sheet.

Kindly note the result after the improvement exam would be considered as the final result of the student,
i.e., Previously obtained marks would not be considered for the subject applied.

In case opting for the provision, an application along with the registration fee of INR 300/- per subject
has to be submitted at school reception maximum by June 05, 2023.
