Pre-requisites to secure Special Mayor’s Permit

1. Email Letter of Intent to City Tourism Operations Office (CTOO)

2. For 100 and below participants, the CTOO will send via email a Certification.
3. For 100 above participants, the CTOO will endorse the letter to Public Safety Security
Command Center (PSSCC) to set a schedule for Assessment. Once approved, the
PSSCC will send via email Safety Security Clearance. For follow up, contact them at

How to apply for Special Mayor’s Permit?

1. Fill out the Online Application Form.


2. Upload required documents. Attachments must be correct, clear and legible.
3. Review all information before submitting the application. Email address and contact
number must be accurate.
4. Application will be verified and will be forwarded to Regulatory Offices for approval.
5. Track the status of the application by logging in with the provided credentials through
the Online Special Permit portal.
6. Once approved, the Order of Payment (OP) will be sent thru SMS and Email. Applicant
may proceed to the City Treasurer’s Office (CTO-POPS) Collector for payment or pay
thru Online Payment.
Required Documents for Special Mayor’s Permit Application

• Letter of Intent addressed to Ms. Maribel T. Paguican, Officer-in-Charge, Business


Bureau.
• For 100 participants and below, Certification from City Tourism Operations Office.
• For 100 above participants, Safety Security Clearance from Public Safety Security
Command Center (PSSCC).
• Comprehensive Plan
• Renewed Business Permit of the Requestor (if Private) or SEC Registration (for
Organizations/Non-Government Organizations/Associations).
• Renewed Business Permit of the Venue
• Certification from the Venue (i.e. Memorandum of Agreement, Rental Agreement,
Barangay Certificate, Certificate of Capacity)

OTHER ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:


• Sports’ Certification from City Sports Development Division for Sports-Related Events.
Email letter request to sportsevents.davao@gmail.com.
• Waiver from Integrated Gender and Development Division (IGDD) for
Pageant/Mutya/Stage Shows. Email letter request to igdo@davaocity.gov.ph or you
can directly submit it to their office at Room 9, Mezzanine Floor, City Hall Building.
• SP Resolution for Cockfighting
• For Recruitment Activities:
o Overseas Employment: PESO Certificate of No Objection, POEA Certification
and SRA Acknowledgement
o Local Employment: PESO Certificate of No Objection and DOLE Certification
• List of Exhibitors for Bazaars/Food Fest/Exhibits which will be submitted by the Event
Organizers.

Required Documents for MAHJONG Permit

• Letter of Intent addressed to Ms. Maribel T. Paguican, Officer-in-Charge, Business


Bureau.
• Latest Community Tax Certificate (CEDULA)
• Barangay Certification (Purpose: For Entertainment Only)
• For Renewal: Latest MAHJONG Permit
