Concluding Exercise

Entering prayer
Take a moment to quiet down, and become aware that God has been with you the whole afternoon. Even
if you don’t feel particularly enlightened or moved, make a little act of faith saying: “Lord, I believe that you
have worked and blessed me today, and I know that you will continue helping and loving me always.”

Rereading your notes and letting them guide me


Now take a look at all your prayer notes from this afternoon, and let (one or some of) them to “speak to
you” again now. Stay with the thoughts and feelings that those words provoke in you. Stay in silence
relishing this one or these two meaningful points.
